lol

so will she start posting here now? I think she should. have you shown her your yagt threads?

We've been insanely honest. Introduced her to a few of my ex's even, stating that I was an immature tool when dealing with women in the past and made many, many mistakes. Luckily these mistakes did not involve illegitimate kids so she's ok with them!

you did not asnwer the mans questions

She's read all of my blogs dealing with the girls... YAGTs are censored versions of my blogs, really.

We all have pasts, I've only had sex with 9 girls - she guessed 40 based on my blogs and my wild dating habits. If she was ok with 40 I can't imagine my YAGTs phasing her. She said my past is my past and how I treat her now is what matters. To be clear, I invited her out to meet some of my exs, to show that I may have been immature in dating but have changed. I actually think my problems with women stemmed from depression and insecurities, and I've been much more sane lately, thanks to therapy and a wonder drug called lexapro.

I've treated other girls poorly, I admit to that. I'm different now, different enough that a brilliant and beautiful girl wants to be my Mrs. I can't excuse the stupidity of the past and can't blame you kids for mocking me, but all around me know that I've turned a new leaf.
read comprehension FTL for me:(

We're all post modern, I proposed in the heat of the moment without a ring. I'm getting her ring as a christmas gift, after finding out what she's into and her size and everything (ascher cut, white gold, etc.)

My mom was annoyed at me for doing that but my girl loved how spontaneous it was and told me that her parents did the same thing, so all is well.

First real date was seeing "Once" on Sep. 16th. I've known her casually since when I lived in bk, over a year ago. We were both fuzzy on when our first "real" date was and decided that Oct 16th was our one month anniversary for book keeping purposes. I counted when when first hooked up, late Sep, she counted when we first had a date.

Yep, just checked, she sent me my first email on 8/10/06

You seem cool.

Craigslist is one of my late night guilty pleasures. Of course, I read
it for the job openings in my field (media); however, I do love to
read what the crazies have written in the personals. Frankly, you
don't seem crazy. Please don't be a psycho. I'm not one to contact
perfect strangers. It just seems that you're a lot like me.
Mid-twenties can be a bitch regarding all of the friends going off to
marriedland; but, it can also be a complete blast. You seem like
someone I'd like to get to know.

I'm 24 and, like you, goofy.

Don't feel bad about the whole "I should have to look online for
friends" thing. We're in a culture right now that feeds on
individuality--but that also brings solitude. Rock on social guy, we
will succeed!

For a list of delightful adjectives about me, please see my little
signature tag.

You have co-dependancy issues and should seek therapy to figure it out. Your hapiness seems to hinge on your being with someone.

It sounds like maybe you just met another person with similar issues and you both are mistaking this for love.

I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm giving you real advice that I'm sure you'll dismiss.

Either way dude, good luck to you.

it doesn't matter how long he has known her
these things can work out no matter how long they've known each other, if they want it to

i proposed to my wife about 6 weeks after i met her and we got married 5 months later and i was away (in the Navy, out to sea) for 2.5 months of that

and we just passed 19 years of marriage
