Exactly, the minority are the windbags who are upset they can't force people to use the Christian apellation. Many people do not celebrate it as a religious holiday, others celebrate a different religious holiday, and many more are just the polite Christians.

Some might just see the sense of calling the 2 month long season of consecutive major holidays(Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) and don't want to buy a new fucking dormat for each one.

I believe you missed the fact that it's mostly a MARKETING thing done by CORPORATE AMERICA in order to include non-christmas-celebrators in their customer base so as to increase sales.
