I'm in about the same boat, got the family and a decent job, but yeah...still feels like there is a big hole in my life. Got all the toys I think I want, truck, house and my PC and firearm collection.

Doesn't help when your GF of 5 years decides she wants to whore around a bit when you're at work trying to pay the bills. Then have to boot her a$$ to the curb and try to pay off the debt you foolishly racked up with her. :roll:

Don't want to say it doesn't hurt, cuz it does, but you can make it through. I tried ending it all about 9 years ago. Didn't work obviously. Even tho I don't hold out much hope of finding 'The One' anymore, I don't think I"ll get to that point again. Kinda sucks being 28 and working 2nd shift for 10-12 hours a day, tends to cut into the social time.


It's not all bad, but sure seems like it at times.

Everybody's life sucks to some extent. Some hide it very well, others don't.
Knowing that it sucks is better than lying to yourself.
