I'm depressed. . .

I wouldn't really say i have a depressing life. But i often find myself depressed. I'd say in a given day i think about suicide @least 15 times a day. My parents even had a convo w/ me on whether or not i was 'Okay'. Dunno if that helps at all, but if you ever wanna feel better by putting someone down, I'm here for ya man. 🙂

...graudating w/ a BSEE...no job, and have to move back home if no job is found.

yeah kinda worried/depressed about future and life haha.
 
My depression is all because of inability to see one of my children, 30 grand of student loan debt I can't pay, bankruptcy, a degree with no job prospects I worked part time to get from 1995-2002 while busting my butt at various hack jobs. . .with the thought that I was bettering myself the whole time, and no friends. . . literally. . .

Yep. 1 year almost exactly. Underemployed for almost 2 years.

Behind in all my bills, jobs keep getting suckier and less rewarding. Just about ready to sell the Condo by The Bay and move back to South Carolina. ewwwww that even sounds worse.

i felt depression for the first time this semester.. and it happened twice

i hate the feeling, i never want to be down like that again

There was no indication that if we WEREN'T depressed we were NOT allowed to post.

I don't see where there's any benefit to commiserating without AT LEAST acknowledging that there is some happiness still left in the world.

However if the OP doesn't want me to post my perspective, just let me know and I'll be happy to leave.

So I'm supposed to have nothing?

The internet access is required for my job and is reimbursed. The computer is self built. I live in a 300$ a month apartment, have no cable, and only a cell phone with a cheap plan. I own one 1995 car outright, and have nothing else really other than some garage sale furniture. I suppose I should not be allowed to have a 250$ duron system I assembled from FT/FS forums?
