If you're going to change your name, change it to something cool...not Frank.

Frank is not too cool a name. Makes me think of a 60 year old chainsmoker. Why not something cool like "Zacharius" or "Wedge"?

I like "Zacharius." I think i'll add that to my list of options.

Moussaoui

First thing I think of... do you really want to have the same name as the shoe bomber by choice?

How about Ted?

He wasn't the shoe bomber, he was the "5th hijacker" who didn't get on Flight 93.

Zach is short for Zacharius, which sounds better and has less of a connection.

I think a name common to both Muslim and Anglican heritage is the way to go, like "Adam." I have a Christian friend in college from Pakistan who is Adam. For a girl a similar one would be "Miriam" or "Sara."

Good suggestions but I would like a secular non-biblical name.

Be proud of your traditional name! Show your heritage!

Okay, I'm gonna start ignoring people who keep mentioning this heritage bs, my main reason for changing my name is becasue its difficult for people to say and remeber. jeez.

Then why don't try to come up with a shortened, easier to pronounce version of your name?
I have a co-worker that goes by Taj. His real name is something like Tajikalapinan or some such.
or maybe go with first two initials?

I've tried that, but it doesn't work, unless I want people to call me "Fa"
