Would it be able to slice through the toughest/hardest materials without effort? Would it cut at all? Since the blade physically does exist(you would be able to see and touch it), one would argue that passing this blade through an object should split/sever it apart.
Alternatively on the other side of the coin, even though the blade physically does exists in the other 2 dimensions, it does not cut since the edge of the blade does not physically exist as there is no 3rd dimension so passing this invisible edge through an object causes no damage. You would then also make the assumption that while the blade is still in the object, it would be "stuck" since the other 2 dimensions occupying the same space will create a sort of lock that prevents the blade from tilting in any direction.
This is somewhat of a followup to my other hypothetical discussion on being shot by a grain of sand at the speed of light. Lets see what kind of explanations you guys can come up with this time. 😀
