If you had to choose, would you rather your kid smoke marijuana or cigarettes?

Tough call.

Physically, cigarettes are worse on the body. However, pot is illegal and getting caught could screw up his/her future in many ways.

Not sure

yea, you gotta remeber, that if he is a pothead he is messin around in the 'drug world'. But then again, there are plenty of resposible people who are potheads and not 'in the drug world'. Kinda makes me think, some people are just gonna get into drugs and some people just arn't. (depends on person)

what if Description didn't waste my time by posting that?

well, he did, and the (stupid?) hypothetical question exists.

I can see we are not gonna see eye-to-eye on this subject. What about a pot user makes him irresponsible?

Anyone who's abusing substances -whether it's nicotine, alcohol, or the crap in pot- is not being as responsible as they could be. It's that simple.

It is unhealthy and illegal on a number of levels. And your term, pothead, implies a frequent abuser.
