If you had irrefutable proof Jesus did not exist, what would you do with it?

We are brain washed with all this scientific BS that it warps our mind into thinking whats possible and whats impossible. If there is a God, he can think in ways that you cant even comprehend. Religious people are not nutcases for the most part. Are there some exteremist out there? Sure. But I know plenty of people who dont believe in anything that are nutcases too. Science cant disput that ever since we started taking God out of everything the world has progressively gotten worse. People now get offended if they even hear the word God. The world would be a better place if people would follow the ideals that are in the bible, God, or no God. Sorry I kinda hijacked this thread, but I see a lot of anti God stuff here and it really just makes me sick. I for the most part keep to myself and dont force my beliefs on other people. I just lead by example and let people choose on their own.

nice.. i know it makes you sick, but in the big picture, i think people that are arrogant enough in their existance to deny God (as in the designer) are the truly sick ones..

Jesus saves you from the law?

no, but I would get much satisfaction from seeing a few people die. It would be worth an early demise for myself.

Hell scares me much more than jail.

I agree, if by sick you mean not delusional enough to pick one extremely unlikely scenario out of many many possible ones and believe with your entire being that it's the truth.

The implication that religion is what keeps you obeying the law is terrifying.

sure you can. I can prove the word "negative" doesn't have the letter p.

That doesn't say you cannot prove a negative, only that you cannot prove a negative simply by stating that no positive proof exists. There are many real ways to prove a negative.

I obey the law for other reasons. Jail is still not a place I want to be.

There was a man who attempted to end my life years ago. I would like to end his but my faith keeps me in check. My view of life changed when I was attacked.

It's been around since man has consciously been aware of his thoughts. I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm not a lunatick. I never speak about God hardly to anybody. Infact I NEVER goto church. I have my beliefs... but i'm far from a perfect christian, i do know that. Faith is something that I'm working on. I was preached too all my life about Jesus, but somewhere along the way i grew up and decided not to take other peoples word for it and search on my own. Only recently have I started going back to the side of christianity. I'm your normal average 21 year old. I drink, I cuss, and i forincate with women. Although I'm not so proud about it..

When friends ask me about my beliefs I tell them, other than that I NEVER interject myself into a God/Jesus bashing contest. I let them have at it and just keep to myself, I believe people should find their own way. If they dont believe what i believe, i dont judge them. I have many atheist friends and some who just down right hate God. I still love them the same, no matter what.

People have interpreted the Bible differently throughout history, and people have interpreted scientific findings differently throughout history. Both the Bible and science have been constant, but humans change. For a Christian to disbelieve science is for a Christian to disbelieve God, because what God would deliberately create a world whose physical laws contradict his revelation?

I would destroy it, least Christianity fails leaving muslim extremists to rule the world. Its like the worst of two evils.

If Jesus was proven to have never existed, Islam would theoretically collapse alongside Christianity although in reality denial would be so strong in both camps that neither would be phased by concrete evidence. Religion is all a myth, anyone with an iota of intelligence can understand it was created as a guiding principal for humans and not to be taken literally.

Of course most/all religions have rules to "govern" and control its people, but you need to understand where the line between myth and fact is. I don't know of any historian worth a damn who belives that Jesus did not exist. That has never been the "issue".

Lets get that straight, ok?
