Where are the people who make this sort of statement living?
Last time I checked America was not a 'take it or leave it' nation - isn't that a big part of being a free country?
Once an election is held, you don't have the choice of another leader, whatever you think of the elected one (Cali recall notwithstanding) but you are under no obligation to accept that the elected leader represents you or your interests, and are perfectly free to spend the entire electoral cycle campaigning for change.
If I were American, George Bush would not have my support, President or not, and I would invest time and effort ensuring that his administration did not continue (if indeed the next nominee was of the same political vision). That wouldn't make me un-American, it would make me a free person exercising my right to free speech, peaceful protests, etc.
If you live in a free country and don't accept THAT, then it is possible you are living in the wrong country, because that's what democracies and free speech are founded on; the right of the people to hold any opinion they wish, and express it without fear.
