Syrup, no question.

I can eat a hamburger or hot dog without ketchup. But pancakes or french toast without syrup is epic fail, IMO.

I think you can use the loophole that mayo is actually a sauce, keeping that plus an actual condiment.

If we're including sauces in this, I'd also have to go mayo, though. It's the base of a lot of common sauces.

Seriously though, it would probably be either ketchup, mustard, or mayo.
They are versatile, cheap and add tons to otherwise bland meals. Mustard is much healthier so I would go with that.

My own special blend that when decanted and distilled breaks up into all sorts of other ones. :p
(I have no clue how that would work but this is a dumb question it gets a dumb answer)
