Winner!

The one about all medical knowledge is great too, but your career would be short lived unless you kept up with all medical journals/procedures and had the intelligence to determine which knowledge was correct when facing conflicting theories/practices.

Such a tricky question.

If I couldn't get the machine =) I'd download knowledge(reading, writing and speaking) of every language in the world throughout history. A skill that I could use in a myriad of ways and wouldn't become outdated before my lifetime ends.

You could know how to be the best brain surgeon in the world in two clicks of a mouse and you would choose to know PHP...

Uhh.. not everyone enjoys surgery.

Johnny Mnomic.

Personal mediaplayer- mp3, video, internet, all wired directly to my head. That'd be neat.

Martian Manhunter would be better. Just as strong and fast as Superman, with similar optic blasts, plus telepathy, invisibility, intangibility, and shapeshifting.

Don't lie people...you know you would just want to upload the experience of actually being with a women and not just having to imagine it on your own.

LOL. I guess we need people who are good at anything. Reminds me of that monster commercial years back where children were saying things like "I'm aspiring to middle management".

**EDIT**
If not, then maybe all known Physics (Mechanical - Quantum)

But more than likely

All known Medical knowledge and the proficiency to use that knowledge. Basically enough to be the most proficient surgeon out there.

DaShen beat me to it.

you already have that  Now, the knowledge to decode it and fix it (genetically-based diseases and such), that would be useful.

Yes, that sounds much better, but what are his weaknesses?

Hmm...probably the ability to learn all of them.

Seriously, I'd go for any of the following:

Helocoptor Pilot
German
French
Amazing Writing Skills

But seriously, PHP? There's gotta be more meaning in that person's life than PHP, which isn't that amazing of a language to begin with

But PHP can be learned without wasting your free chance to learn anything you wanted. Coding languages die out every 5-10 years (if they are the popular ones). And the unpopular ones die quicker nowadays.
