Traveling Americans can just wear the American flag. After the invasion of Canada, everyone will understand that Americans mean business! A good exchange for Canadians, IMO. Canadians will instantly become a significant people again!

Canadians should also strive for the importance that America has in the world.
I don't see how respect and acknowledgement of weakness will deter the superpower of the world from invading another country if such a scenario ever existed.
I suppose 'respect' will make Canadians resist for about 30 minutes. Full surrender will result in about an hour or so.

As I said before, I don't think that the US is going to invade Canada. However, I don't think that Bush would start another world war either. If he does, I wouldn't mind if he started with the invasion of Canada. That's all I said. Maybe you shouldn't try to troll legitimate posts. If you're upset over the fact that Canada would be conquered in a matter of days, then go cry elsewhere.

Well if you are not going to address which posts are and aren't serious, this is what draws me to the conclusion that you have zero credibility. It is not until you are criticized with a valid arguement that you say "awww, i wasn't serious".

Valid argument? All I was asked was had I ever backpacked through Asia, Europe, or Africa (which I have been to one of these) and said I wasn't being serious. According to you anyone that has used sarcasm or joked around in this forum has 'zero credibility'. When I read this thread the other day when it was new,
I passed it by and let it fester.

Then yesterday I watched Meet the Press, and Condumbleeza Rice
was on - and I believe that the verbage she was using was presenting
the same type of rhetoric that began the 'Drums of War' beating for
Iraq, but she was framing it as Iran and the nuclear threat they pose.
Iran has made clear - and has signed onto a treaty that their nuclear
intent is for non-military purposes, and only for energy production.
An unfortunate by-product of this type of energy program is the
production of material that can be refined into weapons grade material.
The US has refused to sign onto that same treaty, as it would open up
the US nuclear projects to world scrutiny, which Bush will not allow.
We are continuing to produce nuclear weapons even against the ban
on development of these weapons as a new 'Tactical Weapon'
So, with the above indicators presented - it looks like the Bush Administration
is, in fact, posturing and preparing to go into another conflict in the Middle East,
choosing Iran as the target, as they do not yet have a weapon capability.
If he is re-elected, I expect a surgical attack on Iran within the first year.
