Oh, there will be a war alright if Bush steals the "election" again. But at least initially, that war will be American people vs. the federal govt, as predicted by John Titor.
many Canadians would be proud to be Americans.

You're kidding, right? If *Gore* had won, it would have been a stolen election. Maybe you need to MoveOn.

Ouch.. I am insulted when people mistake me for an American.
Besides if Canada was taken over by the US and Canada no longer existed...what flag would traveling Americans wear on their backpacks?

Wrong. You need to watch this
"Who would have won if Al Gore had gotten manual counts he requested in four counties? Answer: George W. Bush."
"Who would have won if the U.S. Supreme Court had not stopped the hand recount of undervotes, which are ballots that registered no machine-readable vote for president? Answer: Bush, under three of four standards."
"Who would have won if all disputed ballots ? including those rejected by machines because they had more than one vote for president ? had been recounted by hand? Answer: Bush, under the two most widely used standards; Gore, under the two least used."
You OBVIOUSLY haven't done any real life backpacking through Europe or Asia or Africa, have you, RM?Originally posted by: RabidMongoose
Traveling Americans can just wear the American flag. After the invasion of Canada, everyone will understand that Americans mean business! A good exchange for Canadians, IMO. Canadians will instantly become a significant people again!Originally posted by: JavaMomma

lol...americans should strive for the respect canadians get globally. It is this respect which would deter the US from the thought of invading canada. Listen to the americans in this forum Rabid...you can learn a lot from these more enlightened members.

Pssst...I wasn't being serious 😉

Well if you aren't being serious, why even bother, you just make yourself look like an a$$, not only to canadians, and americans, but the international community as well.
Zero credibility...i hope this thread wasn't one of your lame jokes...
Again, i will quote the sentiment of all other forum members on this topic except you: "The U.S. is NOT going to attack Canada"
Go troll somewhere else one man show...
I wasn't being serious about that one post. Wow, I didn't know that the 'international community' as a whole was represented on a forum mainly geared towards computers.
Zero credibility? How so? Aren't you the one that repeatedly lies, makes up facts, and refuses to even look at his own sources? Yup.
As I said before, I don't think that the US is going to invade Canada. However, I don't think that Bush would start another world war either. If he does, I wouldn't mind if he started with the invasion of Canada. That's all I said. Maybe you shouldn't try to troll legitimate posts. If you're upset over the fact that Canada would be conquered in a matter of days, then go cry elsewhere.
Now go play elsewhere, stunty boy.

Well if you are not going to address which posts are and aren't serious, this is what draws me to the conclusion that you have zero credibility. It is not until you are criticized with a valid arguement that you say "awww, i wasn't serious".
Here's an idea...how about posting serious, intelligent comments, do you think you could do that?...i know it will be hard...but i have faith in you Rabid.
More personal attacks, again your credibility is not looking so hot...
You are notorious for posting extremist views with little backing it up ('europe is a disease'?...remember that one), maybe you should keep the nonsense to yourself and not post it on the internet if you are afraid of being criticized for your thoughts...What did you expect by posting this type of garbage...honestly how was this discussion stiumulating in anyway to the topic at hand...
I play here and get used to it...You have a long way to go before you get all the people out of here that disagree with you...just look in this thread alone 😉
btw, there is a huge international community on anandtech, i don't know what you are referring to with the computer comment, maybe something prejudice...i wouldn't be surprised.

I think the better question should be, if Bush is elected to 2nd term, is the world ready to start a war against US? Almost everyone in the world with the exception of Aussies hate our president guts... well, actually even in Aussie it's 50/50 I believe...
