You are right. The military does not permit murder. The DHS does not have a policy abusing people although it does happen. What is happening is not right and it'not legally required but there are people who do not seek to be cruel or harm. Is it right? No. Sending all these people to prison? No, unless they play corrupt correction officer or the like.

But all those people who work for ICE know what's being reported, they have the choice to speak out against it or support it. They should be judged on that.

I would also seriously hope that if ever a Democrat president instituted some inhumane policy that stood against our values that the right would shame all those who enabled such policies. It’s not going to be limited to “some inhumane policy” when the right turns the tactic against you, haven’t you learned anything in the last decade or so? The right will use it for some minor policy disagreements and treat it like it’s the coming of global thermonuclear war and take your tactic and ratchet it up tenfold.

Examples abound, the left stonewalls a couple judicial nominations, in return the right refuses to hold hearings on any nominees for the Supreme Court until election take place a year plus later.
