I'd like to give up but...

Nope... I really don't. I have other priorities that fill my time.

If I wanted to drop all social activities whatsoever, then I could do it... but since I don't need to get a job... why would I?

This foolish notion of leaving ones home in a wrecked economy and working some shitty job only to have my grades decline is only something a moron would think of.
Bullshit

You're still in college and bitching about $9.00. Honestly, you don't even know the meaning of hard work, you consistently look every gift horse you're given in the mouth, and you seem to fail to understand that success comes from hard work. You make your own luck and you put yourself in position to succeed.

Plenty of people have been in positions far worse than yours, falling from $100,000 jobs to working retail (for example). They've taken pay cuts of nearly 80%. Most of them recovered because they didn't mope about it, they busted their asses to get back into their industry.

Again, you make your own luck. Maybe someday you'll understand what I mean.

$8.55/hr isn't a great wage to live on in a city.

I'm going to get a nice job because I'll be a qualified candidate. I am not worried about getting said nice job either. If I somehow lose my job at whatever firm I'll be at then I'll just get another job at an even better firm.

1. I go out dancing 4 times a week, meet hundreds of women almost every month. What the fuck are you talking about?
2. Uh, no. Read thread.

3. I don't complain about my free ride to school (I typically brag about that)... I complain about not having enough money to do all the things I want. (Luxuries...) Those things are not really even attainable when I work full time at some shit job anyway. ($8.55/hr * 160 hours a month does not get me enough and all the time I sacrifice would definitely not make it worth it)

The bolded is pretty pointless if they all supposedly think you are an ugly shitbag.

Or maybe they don't want you because your personality is junk, you have no job, and you mooch off your parents. I dont know any normal girl that would want to subject themselves to a guy that treats them like dirt, can't afford to give them gifts every once in a while, and is a loser that is super dependent on their parents.

A relationship is a two way street. Nobody will jump into one unless they think they can get something positive out of it. Your looks should be the least of your worries.

If its only about the sex then yea, looks are a #1 priority. Since you have none, forget about the one night stands, or lower your standards.

Wow, man. You really do not know how the world works. You do not get a job simply because you are qualified.

I didn't major in math, but by my calculations $8.55/hr is better than $0/hr. I might have forgotten to divide by the inverse of the reciprocal or something.

No, you're not.

In this economy, you should be.

No, you won't.

I've read a few posts of this dude's here and there, but this is the first one I've read all the way through.
All I can say is WOW!

It's quite obvious that he has no desire to improve his life at all. As another poster pointed out, it's much easier to complain and get sympathy than to actually improve your life.

The problem is NOT your looks. You're not Brad Pitt, but you're also not disgusting. Clearly, you have emotional issues that cause you to see yourself differently than everyone else does. It's kinda like 90 lb anorexic girls who think they're fat. The truth is that you're a normal, average, kinda geeky looking guy and plenty of geeky guys have been able to find women who like them.

Guys with model looks can get women no matter what their personality is like. Guys who don't have those same looks need to have something else going for them.

Your problem is that you don't have the model looks, but you also don't have the personality, confidence, and attitude to attract women. You bitch about not being able to change your looks, but you can certainly change the rest of that stuff and if you were to actually do that, you would have no problem meeting a woman who was attracted to you for those reasons. Your problem is that you aren't willing to give a woman a chance unless you find her immediately physically attractive. And if you are not willing to give them a chance, they won't give you a chance.

Bottom line is that you can improve your life if you want, but you're probably going to have to seek professional help. Based on what I've read from you, you'd actually prefer to be miserable and wallow in self-pity instead of doing something that requires work.

If your online persona at all reflects who you are in real life, then you're going to have serious problems finding a good job. Work ethic is, in many respects, far more important than what piece of paper you have.

But whatever, I'm sure you have it all figured out.

By the time I graduate the economy will be dying to have me.

Yes. That's exactly my point. I might meet hundreds but it's entirely pointless because I am ugly.

That's not really what they care about. I've talked to them and they all like me as a friend because I am funny. They're mostly concerned about my looks because that is what really drives them to put me in that friend category.

Oh, and I never said I was looking for a relationship, because I am not. I just want sex, and that's the problem with looking ugly. I can't manage it when I have this appearance in this environment.

Bolded is why I am unsatisfied with my situation. Also guys with non-model looks and stellar personalities will STILL have trouble with physically attractive women because they will have a higher standard.

Save up for a hooker then. You complain that girls aren't interested in you? Perhaps they get the whole, "I just want to stick my sausage link in your omlette" vibe from you. If you want to be a player, start working at being a player. If you want to be the person you are, be prepared for the downfalls of that position. Would you rather be a sell-out player or an honorable celibate? Your choice.

I rather be laid with physically attractive women, that's what I rather be.

Save up for a high class hooker then! If you're waiting for the female species to come around to reason, just give up now. It sucks being an average looking, above-average-intelligence man. Women don't want you to be smarter than them, they want you to be stronger than them.

what's your major again? CS?

Yes. It'll be CS. If the economy really sucks I'll just go for my Masters. If it sucks more then I'll just get another masters or bachelors in Computer Engineering or EE. Just max out on education until the economy isn't horrible I guess. It's plausible.

lol, you'll end up being a stock boy at best buy

Wow, man. You really do not know how the world works. You do not get a job simply because you are qualified.

Well that's the reason why he is the way he is. It doesn't seem like he's worked one day in his life at all. He really seems like one of those spoiled kids in life and everything is about him. I don't know if he's said it already but it seems like he's an only child.

Nah, I'll permanently be in college before that happens. I'll just get a PhD and teach.

How can you bitch so much if you can be in school for quite awhile? What happens when the real world knocks on your door?

You want secks with all the hos, and you want to be taken seriously? Do you take the guys you see being sluts seriously?
