Of course not, but like they tried to do to Mamdani ... just flip the script and put the thumb on the scale in the other direction.
The local party supported Mamdani, and so did many Democrats across the country. A few old guard shitheads didn't or actively worked against him, and they should face primary challenges. But there is little enforcement mechanisms for people that want to be shits (ie, Sinema, Fetterman).

And this is exactly what is wrong with the primary system. Parties should pick their candidates.
The parties are choosing their candidates, through their public membership, but it is very weak overall and no way to exert any top down control, for better or worse. I'm not sure if going back to parties directly choosing in smoke filled back rooms would be better. It's just a weird system overall though, because the parties are inherently weak and made up of state and local parties, and the process has us forming governing coalitions (through primaries) before the general election instead of after like in a multiparty parliamentary system.

It's all our fault

My pet theory is that if you look at the history of Minneapolis and compare it to the histories of other American cities that have similarly become hotbeds of left-wing radicalism and anarchy—say, Seattle—there are real commonalities. Both cities have a long history of powerful organized labor movements, factions of communist sympathizers, and a tradition of industrial-frontier progressivism. Each city also has a high density of Scandinavians.

You know who don't like labor movements....Fascists

And oh no, Scandivavians. You know, the least corrupt, happiest countries on earth, with best social programs, safety nets, health care, housing security, day car, etc...

I can definitely see why MAGAts would want people mad at Scandinavians, with the stark contrast of to the fascist hellscape they are turning the USA into.

I know you folks will find it difficult to believe that immigration agents could possibly behave this badly, but...

"A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to return three immigrant families to the U.S. after finding that federal immigration agents used "lies, deception, and coercion" to remove them."

"Each of the removals was unlawful, and absent the removals, these families would still be in the United States and have access to the benefits and resources they are entitled to under the Settlement Agreement (a 2023 settlement that granted them temporary legal status and a path to reunification) the judge wrote."

Lies, deception, coercion, oh my!

Imagine accepting an offer to return to this hellscape, where it is almost a guarantee that their suffering, abuse, and harm will be repeated and inflicted upon their families once more.

Look at you revising reality just like the other party does.

You keep talking like all Democrats are the same. If some endorse Mamdani that means the party is United.

I'm not sure how you haven't caught on yet but when we talk about the Democratic party it's the establishment versus the progressives. Yes progressive Democrats endorsed him. That's not who we have a problem with. It's the corrupt Democratic establishment. Those who control the leadership and guide the ship. Schumer did not endorse him. Jeffrey's did not endorse him until the week before the election, the same guy who tweeted vote blue no matter who. What a fake corporate whore dick.

On top of that they were fine with Cuomo, who resigned in disgrace for sexual harassment, to run, under their banner as a Democrat, clearly hoping he would beat Mamdani. Real classy. Absolutely gross. Many moderate and establishment Democrats, basically the same thing, they were not endorsing him.

You have issues and you should try to exist in reality.

There are multiple other examples of how the establishment Democrats push down actual progressive systemic change voices. For example the establishment Democrats, led by pelosi, actively campaigned to make sure AOC did not get the senior Democratic position on the oversight committee. Instead giving it to a guy just for his seniority but it happened to be fighting pancreatic cancer. Who then died! To keep AOC out! In a very high profile committee. Because they are corporate center right politicians. They are anti-progressive.

When will you stop lying about what the Democratic establishment does?

edit: here is a link to watch this race that is upsetting establishment Dems https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2026-primary-special-elections/new-jersey-house-results

Kristi Noem Calls On Minneapolis Residents To Stop Obstructing Murders

“The brave men and women of ICE and the U.S. Border Patrol are doing their best to carry out these executions in a safe and professional manner,” said Noem, who emphasized that public safety depended on the ability of federal immigration officers to kill unimpeded. “These are official, state-sanctioned murders, and it’s not your place to interfere. Our agents need to be able to do the job they were hired to do. And if you do choose to resist being murdered, well, you shouldn’t be surprised by what comes to you.” The DHS secretary went on to condemn the media for “depicting these murderers as Nazis.”

I think you are describing exactly the reality of her words but obviously she says what she says and can only say what she is actually saying because she thinks what she is saying is completely different. How can a hideous moral leper like her say what she says with a straight face.

Do you think she is a fraud with with magnificent acting skills or actually a true believer? Should not your reaction to what she says be dependent on such am analysis. Is there a difference between a con artist seeking self advantage through a rejection of one’s humanity, and a believer in a good that is actually a faith that protects one from emptiness.

You may be indifferent as to the reasons because the words from her could come out the same and do the same damage, but if you want to counter her words and challenge them know your enemy, I would say..

In my mind opposition to people like her are generally corrupted by virtue signaling.

Ask yourself, why are there people on the right. Is there anything they say that strikes a cord with people. Don’t they have millions of dedicated followers? Are they being played and how?

It's a contest to see who can rally the masses to approve of murdering the other half.
So far they have a lead.
