weather in san diego is alot different from what people seem to think.

it gets really hot, and fairly cool a lot.

a better temperature environment would probably be venice CA. that's my ideal climate.

min 68, max 82. year round. ^_^

I won't pretend to be an expert, but if you think San Diego has disparate weather, you haven't spent much time in the Northeast, where its not uncommon to have lows near 0 in the winter, and there will be a few weeks in the summer with highs in the upper 90s.

From what I gather, San Diego is a warmer, drier version of what we have here in Seattle. I would take that over this in a heartbeat.

I think the rest of you guys are thinking too big. :)

So you'd want to stare at fake tits, fake tans, and plastic surgery mutilated faces all day without having the ability to do anything at all to them (as you're just living there, you're basically a lawn ornament to those girls if you aren't giving them money or are HH).

I think you're thinking too small.. that sounds like torture.

Tokyo is def cool. I don't think i could live there as an asian american foreigner that can barely understand the language though. Great place to travel to for work though

Well, first of all, I live in So Cal so I got use to that long ago. Second, not all the ladies at mansion fit that description and there are plenty more that visit for parties to choose from. And finally, I just need access, I can get the rest done on my own with enough regularity that it wouldn't be frustrating and certainly not torture.

Please, stop projecting. ;)

i wasnt saying it isnt nice... just that it's not ideal.

seriously, venice is ideal. constant air blowing in off catalina, pretty much always sunny and warm, but not hot.

Well. At this point, I'm genuinely surprised this hasn't been said, so I'll go ahead and do it.

I wish I can keep my salary, and work and live in New York in the early 1900's.

Ok...my reasons for Santa Cruz:

1) Area - love the ocean and the mtns...you get a bit of both
2) Activities - Surfing, Mountain Biking, hiking, etc
3) Friends - Two of my best friends live there (brothers) and will likely be living there for the long haul
4) 2 major cities near by for work opportunities
5) Surfing...have I already mentioned that?
6) Weather. Pretty much perfect to me. Never gets too cold or too warm. Pretty much always perfect for outdoor activity except for some of the rainy months.

Or you could like in the bay area and head down to Santa Cruz. I go there once in a while.

I'm considering this...but being near friends...and being able to get up early enough to go surfing before work would make living in Santa Cruz ideal. We'll see.

Either Yellowstone, WY or Saint Croix. I know that's a big difference.

I'm pretty happy where I am.

Somewhere probably in/near Vancouver, or just in the rocky mountains somewhere with my mountain bike. That would also be fine.
