No doubt that there are Christians who hold and practice aberrant views (e.g. guy in Utah who got arrested for polygamy)
but this movie makes it seem like what they are portraying is mainstream Christianity.
They (producers/director of this movie) obviously have an agenda and have edited/cut/paste this movie
to promote their "version" of the truth for their own purposes.
Any "thinking" person should be able to see right through this....

I think that everyone on this forum at least can see that this is not a display of mainstream Christianity, but a bunch of utter whack-jobs brainwashing kids.
Except that, you know, those kids aren't killing anyone:roll:
The really sad thing about that video is that so many people not only believe the picture painted in that video is an accurate representation of Christianity as a whole, they actually add their own brush strokes as well.
It seems that every day I read this forum, I feverently hope that all of you are just high school kids, and don't hold any positions of actual authority. Because the thinking skills and critical evaluation exhibited on this forum make George W. Bush look like Einstein.

Not so much saying we have to die for our faith, but that we WILL be persecuted for our faith. Jesus said we'd be persecuted like him. How was he persecuted? He was tortured and killed.
Also, that clip is obviously pretty biased. If they're following the teachings of Jesus at that camp, then they're being taught to be missionaries in Jesus' army, not soldiers. Truth is, missionaries are martyred even today. It's a tough world out there if you share the Gospel. That's probably why they refer to themselves as in an army.
Or, they may be wackos. Can't tell for sure from the (obviously agenda seeking) video.
Both groups are encouraging children to believe it's right to fight and to die in the name of religion. It's brainwashing on both sides and is absolutely no different, regardless of wether one group is killing anyone and one isn't (yet.)
Sad that you didn't read my previous post. I don't think that anyone here believes this to be an accurate representation of Christianity; I myself am not a Christian, but was raised Christian, so I know that this is nothing short of blasphemy.
I have no doubt people think the same of you as someone who is trying to defend these wackos.

this is so stupid. it makes americans look like arabs. this is what the arabs do. this is the stupidest camp ever!
yeah, seen this a while back. It's like any religion: breeding ignorance, intolerance and indoctrination of the younger generations, but to a greater level.
Of course it's fvcking retarded, but that's what religion does to people. Any free-thinking, intelligent person who's mentality belongs in this century isn't religious. It's that simple.
I love how loads of them a fat-asses, yet even I know that gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins. Classic A-star with honours hypocritical tards.
I'd gladly ignore all these religious idiots, and concentrate on associating with decent people, but unfortunately many of these vermin are highly vocal with their ideas, much to my disgust. Roll on the islamic-christian war when we can see a healthy reduction in numbers of these fools and see a global rise in average IQ levels...

Ignore CKent, he's no different to the extremists. They believe all westerners are evil, and a lot of westerners now believe all Muslims are evil. It's a perpetual cycle of prejudice and hate that won't end until a good many people are killed for no reason.
I've never seen a Muslim blow up a vegetable market either, and I know plenty. I've only ever heard about it in the news.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Muslim extremists are in the minority. :roll:
