All other devices that I have use SD, and just recently bought a 2GB card for my Wii. Not that it really should matter anyway, but still it bugs me. ;) I also saw the zen vision m. Only difference that I am seeing is that it is not widescreen, anything else that I should be aware of?

Choices, choices, choices....still got some shopping around to do.

doesn't it come with a SD to compactflash adapter?

Integrated Plug&View? Compact Flash I & II Slot
Transferring pictures from your camera to ZEN Vision W has never been easier. Simply slot in your camera's Compact Flash (CF) memory card and lets ZEN Vision W do the rest. The optional Compact Flash card adapter supports all your favorite memory card formats such as SD, MMC, Memory Stick and more.
ah, it's optional. :( there's some on ebay for ~$25

so whoever here is anti DRM, what do you use?

Plus, keep in mind that I want to use it 50/50, video/audio. I don't see myself using it only for audio...Wonder how/if DRM effects Media Center recorded television...

I have an Iriver MP3 playerwith 1 gig of flash memory. It's very small. It holds about 230 songs and plays for 12 hours on one AA battery. Mine was $229.00 2.5 years ago. They now sell at Newegg for about $150.00, I think. There is no video on this model.

I'm not particularly anti-drm. However, I'm a bit worried about a particular format going "out-of-style", which is why I won't buy DRM until they're atleast lossless; so I can burn and re-rip without a loss in quality.

Anyway, I have an old iriver ihp-120 with the rockbox firmware loaded on it. It's a great player (especially with that firmware, since the iriver firmware sucked from the beginning).
