A friend of my wife and I got her flu shot around 2 weeks ago. Sunday she was not feeling well, Monday she woke up with a 102 fever, husband took her to family Dr., rapid flu test showed positive for flu.
Dr. gave her some Tamiflu and sent her home
The person in question works the front desk for a city water department. She has face-to-face interaction all day with people, talking about payments, receiving payments,,, is a white female around 35 years old with no underlying health conditions.
She did not want to get sick, so she got a flu shot. I thought the flu vaccine were supposed to prevent you from getting the flu?
