I'm glad I like free speech.
So do I, and if you are into the KKK you can find plenty of their speech around. I'm not going to pay to get that inane drivel pushed into my house though.
But, this is all your opinion.
How many hundreds of links would you like? Give me a number. This has already been covered on national TV, had activists calling for FBI involvement too. You can say my stance is extreme, but you would be in denial. One third of 360 owners are current Gold subscribers- all the 360 loyalists tell us all the time what the best feature of the 360 is- why are only one third of the people using it? Perhaps you should realize even amongst 360 owners- you are the minority- people who enjoy the Live! gaming experience.
Queasy-
Ben, you're making the false assumption that Live is not moderated though.
I have multiple 360s, it takes little effort to track those I reported. I have never seen MS do anything to those reported, even when I'm in a game with several friends and we all report the same person. I have heard all about their moderation, I have simply never seen it.
Live also heavily features self-moderation in the form of the ability to mute individual players, report individual players to Live moderators, and the option to not play against/with other individual players by leaving negative feedback. All features that PSN does not to the best of my knowledge.
PSN doesn't have negative feedback, it has all the rest. I've never seen the kind of actions on PSN or the PC that is commonplace on Live. This isn't just a PS3 versus 360 thing, Live is the poorest social gaming service I have ever seen by a staggering margin. Death threats may get investigated after MS gets leaned on by the national media- that is how bad it is.
BTW- I've been playing MMOs for years, you have ~100% mic useage there too and never have I seen the kind of behaviour MS seems to encourage(through inaction if nothing else- everyone else bans them, so they have only one safe haven).
