RIP Ace. Seen some sunrises over the years and thought of you now and then. Never met you but appreciate the sunrise even more. And best of luck to Aaron Stidd as well.

wow, i forgot about this thread. and just returning to ATOT last week, i really went through a walk down memory lane. seeing all those old names i recognize on the first couple pages.... damn. i won't forget when this happened -- RIP ace.

I see the sunrise just about every morning. Can't count the number of times I thought about this thread.

Heart bump every time I see this thread. Life goes by so fast. RIP ace.

No kidding. Almost as if he knew it would be his last sunrise. Also the mention of scotch, which ultimately killed him. Maybe I'm just really tired and reading too much into it.

Since I work evenings, I don't see sunrises much anymore. But tonight's sunset sure was beautiful.

Seeing the sunrise is kinda surreal. It's one of those things that happens every day, but unless you are in the proper situation such as working a night shift and there's a window in the right direction or just staying up late, it's not something you typically see. I remember once I had to take the bus at like 5am to go out of town, so instead of actually trying to get up ridiculously early I just stayed up. It starts around 3-4am, the sky starts to have a slight tint of blue to it. by 5 you can see everything outside clearly, then by 6 the sun is actually out. It's always cool to watch the whole process when you can. Never gets old.

I work night shifts sometimes, but there's no windows in our building, I just see it on the security camera, it's not the same as seeing it in person. 😛 Earlier this summer I got to see the start of it though when I was off and stayed up late. At one point it was starting at like 3:30 or so.

Dog woke me up early today to go out, so I saw the sunrise this morning. It made me think of this and it just so happened to be the 8 year anniversary.
