I saw the sunrise this morning.

Can we stop bumping this thread now? Why keep bringing up a bad memory?

If there is an update in the case, or the survivor, then its warranted. Other than that, we should all let it go.

People aren't bringing up bad memories. They are remembering acemcmac as a person, and what this thread means to others due to the tragic events that happened shortly thereafter.

honestly, when someone dies, you dont mourn for them... you mourn for their family who has lost a loved one. you celebrate however, that persons death. you celebrate their life, by celebrating and talking about them... i remember i had literally just talked to him for the first time about a wk before this all happened.

Can someone link the other thread that explains this? I can't quite tell what happened here...

Acemcmac (the OP) was killed by a drunk driver. This is what he posted on the morning of his last day.

I watched the sunrise this morning, with my 3-year old son.

No pics, and even though I didn't know Ace, I've been thinking about him all morning.

RIP.

I have to say, I was inspired by this young man's passing. To reflect on the day so beautifully meant he appreciated everyday of his life. That alone is worth remembering.

acemcmac, thank you. :rose:

By the time the sun rises I'm usually at the office. I hate winter for that. Soon it will also be dark at 5. I wont actually see daylight except for weekends.

Hard to believe its been 5 years. I remember the day well, I saw his post, and later learned about what happened. Seems like it was just yesterday..
