I need advice, my girlfriend is getting harrassed

My girlfriend is going to UC Berkeley and is currently being harrased by a guy that is in her dorms. Im not too sure what exactly, but basically, he is causing pain, and just laughs it off when my girlfriend screams, or tells him to stop. Now she is afraid to keep her door open, or even walk in her own hall. When she is lying in bed trying to study, he would get in the bed and try to snuggle.

I am fvcking pissed about this, and ridiculously close to going up there and beating him to a bloody pulp, but if I do that, I know i would get in some sort of trouble. I dont really want to get in trouble so I was wondering what I could legally do to get this guy in trouble. My girlfriend does not really want to tell the proper authorities, but I will convince her to.

My question is, what would the legal way be to go about this situation? I am not letting this go, and I want him kicked out of the school. Do you think it would get that far? Who would I tell? The dean?

Any advice to how I should settle this would be nice.

Always start with the first person to talk to, in this case an RA. If it were me? I would visit, and wait around until it happened, walk in the room and "show" him that is not acceptable behavior.

Nah, you're just a reasonable person. This guy sounds like a real creep.

It might also be fun to give your girl a tazer. When he's hugging her, she just jams it into his ribs.

Then go and beat him now. If you complain, they aren't going to act now. They're going to question him about it. That will give him a chance to stop. Why don't you want to give him a chance to stop anyways? Maybe he thinks she likes it or something. Just try talking to him first, tell him to stop.
