Had it for my 3rd time last night...LOVE it ... so good :)

So far I really like the Salmon, Tuna isn't bad, and I had Yellowtail but I haven't gotten to have it more than once to decide on it... what are some good kinds of fish to try in nigiri form? I'm not too hot on the rolls, I like nigiri the best so far :)

How can you not like the rolls? Mix some wasabi and soy sauce, dip them in there... .they're good!

I dunno... my gf got some rainbow rolls last night too and I tried them again... I just don't like the other stuff in the middle...kinda conflicts with the mushiness of the rest of the fish/rice. I like the nigiri...just rice and fish...and I do use wasabi/soy sauce, just not a whole bunch of it :)

There is also Mackerel, Snapper, Flounder, Clams, Shrimp, Scallops, Crab... if you want to get a little more exotic there's Squid, Eel, Octopus, etc. You can find almost any seafood in sushi/sashimi form. :D

Salmon and Tuna are my favorites though.

Yellowtail is best. Theres also fatty tuna, very sweet. I just like the potent scent of mackel.

Mmmm... sushi... :D I love it. Especially as this place opened up near my home/work with the most amazingly fantastic sushi for ridiculously low prices. I've been there like 3 times in the past week.

$4.60-$5.05 for 9-12 pieces at my local Harris Teeter (price/qty varies with type)...and this works as a satisfying lunch for one or a decent snack for two.

There are also restaurants that serve sushi buffets. Anyone in Davis want to go to Fuji's sometime?

Most restaurants here sell the basic Tuna, Cucumber, or Salmon rolls for 2.50 for 6 pieces. :D

I'm kinda getting into the hand rolls now, but they are $$$.

You have good taste Mike....that's one of my favs too. I also like the California rolls sometimes, though they're pretty common. The cucumber just makes a great filler. ;)

Yeah, sushi is awesome. My favorite roll is definitly California roll w. no wasabi. I LOVE to do dip the rolls in teriaki sause; that completes the roll.

Other rolls I like: Tuna, Shrimp Tempura (some places do make shrimp tempura rolls), and Cucumber, though cucumber is too boring for me now.

spicey tuna & urigi ownz u.. the true way to taste sushi is go hard with wasabi and very VERY LITTLE soysauce.

I Never ever order Sashimi because my dad makes the best. He'd go fishing @ glouchester and filet the same fish at the same day.. No restaurant can beat that freshness.. 30-40 slices of the best sashimi for free... I was surprised when I found out that ppl actually pay $5-7 for 3, 4 pieces.. damn

maybe I can hook u up during this summer.. ;)

I like Philly Rolls, Vegas rolls, Spicy Tuna rolls, Atlantic rolls, crab crunch rolls. Oh well, I like all sushi. However, California rolls are NOOB rolls. :D
