How is Lookout in comparison?

And why didn't they just turn off the 4G or pull the battery? My GNex eats battery so quickly but because of Lookout I keep 4G on all the time. Don't think it would last more than a half day out there with GPS actually activated.

Do yourself a favor and remove Lookout. From what I've seen it bogs down a phone and is always active, not what you want.

Cerberus isn't completely free? Lookout has the ability to take a pic and email it if the unlock by the thief fails 3 times which I'm sure is pretty common - was that not enabled? EDIT>> nvm the OP only had ADM.

It's like ~$4 for a license for five devices. It goes way beyond the take a photo after failed attempt. You can have it take a photo at any time, or record a video, or audio, or sound an alert and when they touch the screen it takes a photo. Or have a message show up on the screen instead and then take a photo, etc.

2.99 euros, which is currently $4.14. I bought it yesterday.

Hmmmm...they should have the GPS turn off only when a password is required. I'd be cool with that in iOS7.

This is why I cling to my $35 Samsung phone, I'm probably the last flip-phone user in town, even bums mock me but it induces zero stress in my life and it makes and takes calls and messages..

I don't have the malware/spyware protection activated, just the missing device protection and it seems fine in terms hogging resources. I will say that taking 5 (just tested) incorrect unlocks is a feature I'd like to change to 3. But hey, it's free.
