How is Lookout in comparison?

And why didn't they just turn off the 4G or pull the battery? My GNex eats battery so quickly but because of Lookout I keep 4G on all the time. Don't think it would last more than a half day out there with GPS actually activated.
Lookout is a bloated PoS and it doesn't have as much features as Cerberus.

I don't have the malware/spyware protection activated, just the missing device protection and it seems fine in terms hogging resources. I will say that taking 5 (just tested) incorrect unlocks is a feature I'd like to change to 3. But hey, it's free.

Can Lookout take a picture every time there is an incorrect unlock?
Can Lookout record audio?
Can Lookout record video?
Can Lookout take pictures at a whim?
Can Lookout inform you when the thief replaces his SIM with your own and tell you what the phone number for the new SIM is?
Does Lookout have the ability to hide itself from the app drawer to keep itself from the prying eyes of thieves?
Can Lookout get you a list of last calls sent and received?
Can Lookout be flashed as a system app?(meaning even if the thief restores the phone to factory default, the app will still be there, and there's not a damn thing the thief can do about it since it will be immune to a complete wipe/factory reset)
Does Lookout require a one time fee of ~$4 or does it require a monthly/yearly subscription?

All these are questions one should answer before investing in Lookout over Cerberus.

This reminds me, I need to look into some kind of tracking app in case I ever lose my phone. I don't have data though, so it would probably make such an app less useful as the thief would probably be smart enough not to connect it to any wifi until it is wiped.

down side is, if you have root then you can manually wipe each partition and get rid of it
