I live next to a bunch of ricers.

Skyline used to be a luxury line, and they're returning back to their luxury heritage through the Infinity Q35. It's quite a dissapointment as a sports car. Only wish they could put the G-35 prototype into production.

Making the car go fast is something REAL hot rodders do.

I am restoring my 75 Monza. The outside looks bad, paint is factory and dull, and some stupid girl rearened it. But under the hood is a small block chevy, hooked to a 4 speed manual. I am restoring the inside right now, then will hit the suspension and drive line next. Last thing is the Body. I don't want to put 2K in paint and body if I still need to remove the doors, pull the motor, do some welding, etc....

Ricers suck, but my car sure loves to eat them

hey, don't forget the old cars too... what about them rx7's? the 3rd gens, just lightly modded, will torch almost anything on the street... i'd bet one with straight through exhaust, a non-sequential setup (not going single, just configuring the 2 stock ones to boost at the same time rather than sequentially), cold air intake, ecu, and bigger injectors (around 3-4 grand), you'd have a 93-95 car that will absolutely light up at least 95% of the cars ATers own... you can guess, that's the car i'm going to be getting in about 5 years... except i'll be stock until my engine blows, then i'll get a streetported and then start modding w00t w00t... rotary for life!!

From the other point of view, when other people think we are wasting our money on useless crap like neon light and monster size case for our PC. What would you say?

Myself as an Asian driving with "riced up" Mustang. I think people hate ricers because of their attitude and showing off, not because of their race.

What's worse, my friend has a v6 mustange, he put dual exhaust on it (not really, only one is hooked up) a body kit, a gt badge, and a saleen sticker, he has to get the wing painted, he has rims and subs, yet he makes fun of "Ricers" all the time, I saw him get taken to school by a souped up crx, a crx that is just wrong.

rims and subs are generally not rice unless he puts on the tacky super-chrome or anything-tacky kind of rim on and gets one of those cheap subs for nothing else than boom. People think they're cool when their trunk rattles from the bass? Please.
