I just don't see if there's an expected outcome of appreciation if I put forth effort at this point

I lack faith that I can move my life forward

Feel like I have high expectations that I don't see ever being met

How would your life be different if you "moved forward"? What do you mean by move forward? What's at your imagined destination? Employment? More money? More friends? More knowledge? More charisma to be able to post something people will respond positively to? Critical thinking skills? Artistic skills? Monetization skills? A desire to go into therapy and stick with it? All of the above? What are those expectations you have for yourself that aren't being met?

You should write down your goals because your posts seem a bit vague on what exactly you feel is missing in your life.

Do you know what cures most depression? Staying busy. Why? Because you don't have time to feel sorry about yourself. I've noticed that when most people say that they are depressed what they are really saying is they lack purpose in life. Find that purpose and attack it. As Greg Cardone would say "10X it!"

Now my aunt had real depression. She watched her twin sister burn to death. She was always on xanax which messed her up big time.

I don't know what exactly you mean or want by moving forward, but it sounds like a comfort zone for too long that turns into depression issue to me. As unsettling as moving forward may feel or even be at first, it's only temporary.

Gonna hang out at a local bar and drink selzer water. They have WiFi. Mood is different in my neighborhood lately that's for sure

Been living here a couple of years. Never really got to appreciate it like I should have

OP, ever try working out? It may help you mentally more than you think because it releases endorphins that cheer you up. If you need some advice on a program for beginners, shoot me a PM.

Gonna pay in advance, don't believe in waiting to pay

Why so rigid? I would have no problem paying however the establishment expected me to pay. Before, after, doesn't really make any difference to me. Seems like an asinine place to take a stand. Feels like just another instance of you trying to set the situation up to maximize your own comfort level. If you pay before, you don't have the bill in the back of your mind while you're trying to socialize right?

You don't recommend paying in advance?

How about selling webhosting outside? Just to appear not idle. What do you think about this idea?

It says you live in 'nyc' Maybe move out of the big city, go some place where life is less stressful?

Can't don't know anyone. Could go to Virginia but don't want to bother my dad tbh. Perhaps I'll just be happy here. Mood is different lately dunno why. Can anyone else in nyc notice this?

search your heart, happiness is a state of the mind, position yourself to be happy though its difficult at first but you'll get it later on

Yea, I guess it was dumb idea, moving is kind of extreme.

You go on any vacations recently?

Maybe time to take a road trip for the 3 day weekend?
