I lack faith that I can move my life forward
Why do you lack the faith that you can move your life forward?
Have you spoken to a doctor? Sounds like you have perpetual despair.
That's what happens when you consider yourself an "unemployable artist" living off the government teat. Get off your arse, get a job, and if you really think you're an artist, either improve your art until others agree, or finds those that agree that your current output qualifies as art.I just don't believe I can achieve my goals. Feel like I'm doomed to mediocrity
I have a doc but he's busy, don't feel like bothering him

I have an idea about how I can be more liked in my area but I'm afraid of it going unappreciated. Print outs of art from various artist and having a sign "free art" Thoughts on this idea?
Are you going to make sure it's ok with all these "various artist" that you give their work away? Just a thought.
A lot of your ideas for being "more liked" seem to center around placing yourself in a public place and setting up a situation where you come in contact with people on your terms. Not a terrible idea I suppose, but you run the risk of being "the weird guy who gives away art in the park" to most people who see you. I think it would be better if you got involved with a mutual activity with other people. People tend to like you better if you are doing something "with" them rather than "at" them, if you get my meaning. Bowling leagues are fun and you can be a great asset to your team even if you aren't very good. Joining a gym can put you in contact with people and improve your self esteem simultaneously. Charity work is something I never did, but it seems like an equally good way to rub elbows with people who will instantly respect you for joining their ranks.
There are so many ways to get people to like you that are better than setting up shop in an open area and giving stuff away.
You have no legitimate reason to believe so. None.i do believe Im unemployable. What reason have I not to believe this?
