Agreed... the other night I was coming home from work about 12:30 am, four lane highway, and there are only 2 cars in front of me. One car in the left, one in the right, and they are driving side by side at the same speed. I get behind the lady on the left, and hope that she pulls ahead so she can move over to the right so I can pass. Instead she continues to box me in for a mile or so. I start tailgating her closely and the lady brake checks me. Finally she speeds up enough and I've had enough so I pass her on the right. She then jams her wheel to the right like she's going to swerve into my car but doesn't do it of course.

I'll be the first to admit it was a dickish move to follow her so closely but usually people have the decency to let you pass on the left like you are supposed to. So dumb, yet so aggravating.

If you are in the middle of passing someone, then by all means complete the pass, that is fine. I don't get angry at those people.

If they end up moving to the left and then go the same speed or just barrrrellly faster than the right lane, while the left is moving substantially faster...that pisses me off.

It's people that do this to the extreme that drive me nuts. If the SL is 70, they drive 71 in the fast lane while passing a group of 5-6 cars that are widely spaced (enough so they can get right to allow faster traffic to pass), yet they stay in the left lane the entire time. And then you have a-holes that drive 68.00000001 while passing the guy doing 68 (in a 70 mind you), and they wonder why people ride their ass.

Drive the speed limit... that's fine. But when you're passing... PASS! It shouldn't take 30+ seconds to pass someone.
