I just got married

My fiance and I planned to get married this year in a very low key fashion, but we put off the plans until recently. However all the judges in the area left early for the holidays, or weren't doing marriages any more this year, and noone returned our calls.

Not expecting much, I posted on craiglist last night, and now we're married, courtesy of a nice local pastor who wanted to help. 🙂:beer:

Not much of a wedding...the pastor, us, and two witnesses in his small chapel. The 'ceremony' was however more special than we expected it to be, courtesy of the pastor's genuine sincerity in it all.

Actually it was the pastor's ex son-in-law who referred me to him. 😀 I wasn't going to go there with him tho, since he did me such a favor.

Marriage still has plenty of penalties even if the tax deal has been remedied. 😛
