Are you the kind of gym guy that walks around naked? You know, like walk out of the shower naked, walk around chatting with friends naked, talk on the phone naked, comb your hair naked... and only put on your clothes at the very end?

Are you homophobic? Do you think with enough attention, you're going to turn gay or something? Why let what somebody else thinks change YOUR life?

Worst comes to worst, the gay guy approaches you. And if that happens, just tell him you're married... and straight, and thank him for the gifts.

Maybe take him out to dinner to say thanks. ;)

;)

OMG, we so *totally* know it's one of the guys in this thread! But...which!?

Perhaps being more serious; outside of homophobia are straight men more worried about being fancied by another man because men are felt as more predatory whereas women aren't as a whole seen as such. (Due to societal conditioning, typical behavioural associations, physical greater strength and due to the man's role in intercourse being the more 'active' one).

In that sense not knwoing who it is could be a bit freaky.

However, I feel like you shouldn't have anything to worry about. You should feel flattered. Of course, if you should ever get jumped I hope you've been working those butt muscles. : )

The last thing I want to do is lead someone on even if its dude. Least I could do for the guy is let him know asap I"M NOT GAY.
That's fvcking retarded. Guys buy drinks for girls that aren't interested all the time. Do the girls give the drinks back? No.

Enjoy another week with the female trainer!

Wear a shirt "Happily married" - is much more visible than a wedding ring
Even if I expect the wedding ring to be a much stronger statement, and I'm sure the person that sent you the letter will see it

Freak out much? Just relax already, and if this person ever comes out (pun intended) of the woodwork, just let them know you're not gay. You shouldn't make it your mission to be so flamboyantly hetero that he gets the message. As for not showering at the gym, talking to your boss, etc ... grow up a bit.

I have to admit, the not knowing who they are thing is a hair creepy, regardless of their gender. But its more creepy when its a dude just because of what you mentioned here. Although I'm sure if they guy was going to wait in the gym shower with an ether soaked rag ready to buttsechs you, he wouldn't have sent you flowers first.

Stop being such a homophobe. This person will make himself known to you at some point, just calmy explain the situation. There's nothing wrong with accepting the gifts.

But the gifts may contain cooties!
