The ball washers at the Washington Post have posted a transcript of the interview they did with Drumpf. If you can stomach reading it, it's a stream-of-unconsciousness that ought to scare any sane person. Drumpf stammers a lot and loves to talk about himself rather than the topic at hand. His responses meander all over the place and he unable to stick to any kind of response that actually makes a point.

How bad is it? Try this:

Read it if you dare, it might cost you a few brain cells.

Can he see Russia from his back yard?

"

Can you provide a link? Because I went to pbs.org, the PBS website, and input different combos of trump + wall + cost + mexican, etc, and the best I could find is "Trump has not provided specifics about the wall but says it would cost between $10 billion and $12 billion."

And that is just from Trump, with no specifics.

The numbers for illegals are from here http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown...iving-in-us-on-expired-visitor-student-visas/

The claim is 11 million in the US, a number that seems to shrink or expand depending on the politics involved. The price for the wall came from another post in this thread. That's another number that is subject to a lot of debate. The simple reality is that if the federal government were serious about stopping illegals from coming into the US, a 95% reduction could be easily reached. The only reason not to stop it is the need of an underclass to provide cheap labor. Having an under paid, unrepresented, disposable work force has proven to be very valuable. All the money one normally pays for workmens comp, taxes and the like go right into the business owners pocket, all the medical expenses are picked up by the state. It's better than having indentured servants.

We play games with the issue, but

Can you explain the mechanics behind this 95% reduction? That seems ludicrously unrealistic.

LOL hahahaha!!! Poor Lib, my posts must hurt you so. :'( Of course the GOP (who aren't my leaders at all, but how Intellectual of you to assume that) are making sure those flood gates are as wide open as possible. You think all those business owners want to go through the hassle of employing Americans when they can hire and fire at will, cash on the barrel, and have someone who shows up to work and who will work? Buwhaha no shit the Reps want them in.

Here's a little secret there little Libby.....that Dem Leadership you like fluffing? Wait for it...

...they like them coming in just as much! Just for different reasons...:eek::eek::eek:

Where have the true Intellectuals gone? Moonie, I thought the Libs were supposed to be smart, yet, look how dumb they are? I mean, the hilarity of wrongness is so painful, it's like....hmm...they're not Intellectual at all? :(

I await the Nickertainment (but Finger, you're doing a good job as stand in), always worth the wait!

Rant on! This is fun to watch.

People hate Trump because he said Iraq was a lie. In the same scathing interview from many years ago, he said "It's all a lie". That is why they hate him. The system is a lie and he knows it. The establishment rules the country on a bedrock of lies, and they hold so much power over the dumbed down masses that at least 100 million of these dumbed down morons will hate on Trump simply because the power system hates on Trump. It doesnt matter how badly the establishment has screwed the average person, the average dumbed down moron will keep voting to be screwed over. What is going on here is so completely obvious. It is a victim mentality, people act like victims of abuse, because that is exactly what they are. And the victims lash out against Trump because he offers at least hope for a cure. Go watch Trump on Oprah from 1987. He said the same things back then, except he was railing against Japan instead of China. He sees clearly what's been going on, and has seen it clearly for a very long time. At this point, anyone who is against Trump is basically just a mindfucked victim who has so fully been abused that they want nothing but more abuse and they want the whole country to share in that abuse. Broken minds, broken people.

And yet he's still far more successful than anyone here, and has a shot at being president. The world just ain't fair.

How so?

Had you inherited your entire fortune, would you have lost/let it sit idle and wasted like he has, or not?

show your work.

Of course there are several ways to look at success: The Donald seems endlessly happy about himself and that is certainly some type of success but let's face it--you can be poor and dumber than a bag of hammers and still be plenty happy with yourself. The same success.

So let's first define what you mean by success, then let's try to put everyone on equal footing with the Donald and his as yet undetermined accomplishments.

It all depends on how far we want to go to stop people from illegally crossing the border. Armed troops would do the trick, though I couldn't condone the use of lethal force. On the other side, financial ruin for employing an illegal in any manner would be a good deterrent.
There are any number of things that could be attempted, what we know for sure is that whats being done right now is an abject failure, so rather than throwing more money at a failed program we need an entirely new approach.

Nearly half of all illegals enter the country legally and overstay their visas. Not much that a wall or any other kind of border security can do about that.

I saw this in a comment over at LGF:

Tweet by Trump:

"Wow @SenTedCruz, that is some low level ad you did using a picture Melania in a GQ shoot. Be careful or I will spill the beans on your wife."
He deleted it right after Tweeting it. I wonder what dirt Drumpf has on Raphael's wifey?

Trump claims he started with a million dollar loan from his father, and turned that into several billion, that's a successful businessman.

I'm not a Trump fan, and I'm sure as hell not going to be his advocate, but I'm also not foolish enough to try and pretend that he's buffoon who stumbled into a vast fortune, a weekly television show, and a shot at the presidency by dumb luck, that doesn't happen.

40% is the number I saw. But the reduction I was speaking of was exclusively at the border. Beyond simple and direct action at that point, I have no idea how the issue should be addressed. I certainly don't blame anyone for trying to better their situation by coming to the US.

He inherited/had access to a bank of lawyers, accounts, and business advisors also at the time on retainer I'd imagine, along with being handed a lot of money.

I'm still betting he was given a lot more than a million, over time.

I imagine he could have bought a shrimp boat and made money ...

Not dumb luck, Trump is very, very smart and a total scumbag. He made billions by hosing his partners and employees. He made plenty of money for himself on each of the four casino bankruptcies he engineered.

And Trump is back with a new Tweet:
This just keeps getting worse and worse...lol!
This is quite possibly the dirtiest Presidential campaign in American history, and we're not out of the primaries yet.

I don't know anything about that. I herd him talking about the million dollar loan during an interview. That's the extant of my Trump financial knowledge.

Let's all take pause and consider the fact that a corrupt and immoral Atlantic City casino boss is running for President.. with no prior record of public service.. on the conservative bible-thumping family values ticket. This is the depths of decadent decay to which America has fallen.

I keep wondering when the Repubs are going to hit rock bottom and it looks like they are going to take the long way there...lol! Someone over at LGF said this may be related to some late night mental health incident Raphael's wife had on some road in Texas (old news I guess).

Some else sympathized with her being depressed after moving to Texas and it being Drumpf's 'bombshell'.

I'd think Trump also inherited his father's business partners, business contacts, and had quite an expansive education in real estate not generally experienced by others.

Trump certainly had extensive advantages over someone just arriving in NYC with little more than a bag of money.
