You have defined miracles as events that have a probability of 1/1,000,000 or less. Lets say that every second each person experiences an event, ignoring the fact that a million things could have happened to that person in that second. Just go with seconds to make things easier.
Based on that, there are roughly 300 miracles happening in the US every second. There are 7000 miracles in the world every second, 420,000 miracles every minute. There are 25,920,000 miracles in the US every day. Think about that, 26 million miracles in the US every day based on the fat kid rolling dice ?religion?.
Let?s look at it from another perspective. There are 86400 seconds in a day, 604800 seconds in a week. A person experiences 0.6048 miracles a week. Put another way, everyone experiences a miracle every eleven and a half days. That is a little over 2 miracles a month. The average person in the US will experience about 2200 miracles in their lifetime based on the fat kid rolling dice ?religion?.
I can?t guarantee that you?ll notice all the 1 in a million things that happen to you, but the world isn?t limited to one event per second. If I tossed a million knives at a million people from a foot away I would hit almost all of them. Should the douche that I missed because I hiccupped consider it a miracle that I only killed nine hundred thousand nine hundred ninety nine people?
You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You?re the same decaying organic matter as everything else. That miracle wasn?t Joseph, Mary, Jesus or any other deity acting in your favor. It was the result of you not ****** it up like you did the 999,999 other times.
