Today has been a pretty bad day for me, and then I get home and check my email and see this in my inbox:
This is a friend of mine who pisses me off quite frequently, but he had the fvcking balls to email my boss and write that sh1t. Then he says it's partially on my behalf too?! What the FVCK man!
What pisses me off even more is that he thinks he knows everything about, well, everything, including video production. He had no clue about Media 100 til I talked to him about using it at the office this past summer. So much for this fvcking internship, god dammit.
UPDATE - Well, not much happened since then. I had to email my boss a couple times over the past couple days and it seems to have been somewhat strained.
As for the douche, he's as much of a douche as ever. I've got a documentary I'm working on for the biggest local awards show there is, and he keeps interfering with the taping of it, but I've been able to edit him out for the most part. We'll see what happens in the coming days as deadlines start to come up for several other productions I'm working on, including one with him.
When I messaged him about the email and asked him what the fvck he was thinking, he said he "sent the wrong email" and that he "seriously meant to send a different email." Like I'm that much of a fvcking n00b.
Hi Chandler,
Media100 is a software and hardware edit suite - costs about $15,000. A
copy of the software won't work since the hardware (Media100 PCI Card) has
to be there as well as a license key that is set by Media100 to our specific
machine. As for Combustion, in order to use it you need a hardware key as
well (USB). Does Del Campo have Final Cut Pro? As for Combustion, if you go
over to Creation Engine (www.creationengine.com) they have the best prices
for students and schools. -Doug
