That's not an easy decision to make.

To: TICK.....try purchasing a decent 4 bedroom house in New England on a single income. Yup, you guessed it, if you are not a Surgeon or a Corporate lawyer, forget it.
I have a modest 4 bedroom home and my house taxes alone are in the $6500 area.

To: All with no kids......It is very hard to empathize with those who have them and their needs to care for kids when they are ill. Trust me someday you WILL understand even if it is a niece or a nephew that you are watching over.

We all get reamed on taxes. Sorry it is the truth. Single, married whatever and to you singles pissin and moaning about the taxes. Wait til you have kids and then you will think that taxes were like a gift compared to the cost of children and the "costs" that come with them.

Ack, UPS. They'll probably break it, or launch it into a star or inject into the nearest warp core. Also, these days NewEgg is having problems with it's interstellar tracking systems. And further, do I look like a com-console? I sure don't feel like one.

I have a niece and a nephew. My nephew lived with my parents and me all through high school because my sister made some mistakes (not the issue). I feel I have a good grasp on what its like to raise a young child, while I don't know the feeling of having my own child I know about and have seen first hand the tough times.

Possibly move out of new england if you can't afford to live there? Kids are not a right.

The expectation is that you get your work done. If you can't get your work done you lose your job.
