Alright let me get this straight...
1. You and 2 girls beat up 4 guys? In other words you beat up 4 guys singlehandedly?
2. You actually looked at the clock before and after the fight and noticed that it was 9:42 before the fight and 9:52 after? This is what you were worried about, the time?
3. You think 9:42 to 9:52 is 8 minutes?
4. You post this on ATOT under the pretense of being worried that it took you too long to singlehandedly beat up 4 guys?
Sounds like a thinly-veiled bragging thread to me.
bingo. Not that the rest of us can claim we've never done that (those who have been in real fights, anyway). Last time i had bloody knuckles from punching a guy in the teeth i didn't exactly hide what happened when people asked wtf was up with my hands. Speaking of which, that's something they neglect to tell you in ANY martial arts training. Punching the guy in the face often results in hitting his teeth (worse with braces) and the cuts on your knuckles often get infected.

nobody wants to fight a naked guy!
i found this oddly hilarious. Maybe it was the mental picture of what people would do if you just whipped it out lol.

Am I the only one that things this is a little starange? I'm not doubting your story, but 8 minute fights just don't happen if the people involved are really trying to hurt each other, in my experience.
Yeah I rarely see street fights last that long. A wrestling match lasts 6 minutes and after it's done you're EXHAUSTED. Most people can't fight continuously for over a minute or two unless its two cautious fighters sparring or mostly talking. If you doubt me, try to go just 4 consecutive minutes against a wrestler on the mat. After about a minute you'll think your heart is going to explode.
OP also should understand that in most scenarios, nothing you read will help you in a street fight because the adrenaline takes over and you dont actually think-- you react. So unless you've been training to do something, you probably wont actually do it in a fight.
Never been up against multiple attackers but from what i've seen, most guys are more talk than anything else. Everyone but the most experienced fighters are scared in a confrontation and most would gladly take a way out if they could keep their ego intact. And if it's 1 vs 2 or more and the one guy is insanely aggressive, chances are the other guy(s) will back away lest they invite his wrath.
Also-- as far as the Marines go, the martial arts/fighting training really is a joke. Don't expect to come out of boot camp a ninja. I trained for over a decade before enlisting and the martial arts training in boot camp (MCMAP) is VERY basic. The only thing you really got going for you as a Marine is fitness, confidence, and intimidation. Though some may say that its false confidence. But youre no better fighter than the avg joe out there and you'll STILL get your ass kicked by an experienced fighter, Marine or not.
