You're "pwning" yourself, if you haven't realized... but you're apparently too thick headed to realize.

Have you ever thought, that there may be a reason why your sister, cousin, your peers, and probably your mother don't think highly of you you? Hmm... think about it for a second. You're trying to run other peoples lives that you have absolutely no right to control, and you think you deserve some kind of positive attention for that? What fvcking planet do you live on? From the looks of it you're an arrogant control freak, and with that attitude, you'll never get anyone to think highly of you.

But of course, you'll rebutt to an argument and erase it--citing that it's useless banter, you'll pick on a minor typo, or completely ignore it. Or even better yet, you'll try to make a statement that makes you sound witty and smart by using words you just looked up on dictionary.com and Wikipedia.

You've made no indication of your age, but it's pretty certain that you're some loser high schooler, who is picked on--for a good reason it seems. Maybe not. Maybe you're older, and in that case, it's even sadder. I honestly hope that what you post on the forum is an act to try and get attention. If it's not, well I just hope that you'll pull your head out of your ass someday and realize you'll get nowhere in life if you try and control people over little petty things. Sometimes you just have to ignore and let certain things go, not everything is your responsibility.

I have used every sort of music player possible and have concluded itunes to be my favorite. Why? I don't feel like spending the time necessary to customize foobar (even though I think its excellent). Also, take a look at the itunes multi plugin before you completely dismiss it. It allows you to customize the skins and have all of your music play through the foobar engine. So essentially, you have itunes organization and convenience with the sound options and quality of foobar.

By the way, I hope you're having fun getting your desired reaction out of everyone here. We are all very proud of you. Please comment on my stupidity, I'll be fascinated to hear it.

Quicktime and iTunes are generally bundled on apples website. She probabily needed quicktime for something, and got itunes as well.

Let this thread die so goku will be forced to come up with some other humorous topic to get everyone's attention. Maybe goku and PAB can have a complain-off about which one of their lives/parents is worse.

I didn't find any files or anything of the sort, just itunes. I questioned her on it and she said 'I had something I wanted to listen to, OK!?' I said, 'what is it, and she said 'it's none of your business'.... and wtf?

She's right, it is none of your business.

What are you talking about? You don't even know what she was doing, so how can you be in any position to say that it is right or wrong?

iTunes is not worthless, it is a great program to manage one's music library. In fact it is my preferred app, and I use it and recommend it highly. And what's this about taking away purchased music? You want to take away things from your mother that she bought? When again, you don't even know what they are? What agenda do you have? How does that even make sense?

Hello, she doesn't have a music library. All the music she owns are on CDs, she isn't ripping anything, to my knowledge she doesn't listen to music on the computer at ALL.

maybe she's decided to start out of a desperate to need to drown out the sound of your soprano, girlish nerdy nagging voice ?

For some reason this rumor gets repeated over and over again in the AT forums. But it is not true.

Astonishingly clever . . .

Well, right there on the Apple website that you linked it says (and I quote):

QuickTime 7.1 with iTunes 6 for Windows 2000/XP

To me, that sure as hell seems as if it comes bundled.

In my book, iTunes and aol are the same thing, both worthless POS excuses for software. You say it isn't going to harm her, couldn't the same thing be said about aol? Ya know what happened when I tried to get rid of her aol? She said she'd rather DIE than live with out her aol. It's like friggen dog who found a bone and when you try to take it away, that sweet puppy becomes a vicious creature.

It's interesting that the mother of Boy Wonder? apparently had no problem installing iTunes, yet she probably would have never installed those three applications. Which, in a sense, does prove that it is too complicated for the average user.

That defeats the whole purpose of using foobar. If you need to organize your collection, use the god father, works much better than iTunes... iTunes is bloated, WTF would I use iTunes AND the god father?

I think the only mistake you made was downloading you.

God you're a moron. So I assume you have all sorts of 'utilities' like weather bug, bonzi buddy and aol, right? Right? You've got those search bars on top of internet explorer, right? How about real player? Like music match? Cause you've got to have at least 5 programs that do the same thing, all running in the background just in case you need to load it up!

I didn't say it was 'easier' it just isn't 'harder'. Just because something is 'easy' doesn't make it 'right' or the 'best option'. It's EASY for me to go out to best buy and buy what ever the fsck I want, though its BETTER for me to know what I need and then find out where I can get it at the lowest price instead.

Anyways you guys need to read my edit in the thread, she, like I said doesn't listen to music on her computer so the point is moot. It's installed on there and I'm sure it's taking up resources it shouldn't be, much like aol. They're both AWFUL SOFTWARE yet none of you will accept the fact that I don't want her using it.
