They call it red meat for a reason, dont cook it to a crispy disgusting dry brown color!

Medium rare or rare is the onyl way to eat it!

I've cut back a lot... Now I mostly eat salads / rice / beans / grains / fruit...

Tho, I do go and get some real nice thick well marbled t-bones every Friday it's bbq / garlic bread night... Sometimes I'll throw a chicken on there as well (why waste a good coal burn) 10 mins for a steak when you can get a bird on it as well? Anyway, I like mines med-rare *steak* that is.... Yum...Yum....

I don't eat beef... I don't really like it that much and I guess the cholestrol/BP/Heart Disease lowering is a pretty good thing...

Now Pork and Chicken and Turkey and such... yummy.

Not too often. I will on occasion make my own burgers from ground beef, but it's a bit gross mixing in everything by hand (mixing spoons just don't cut it). Something about the fact that a cow was effectively fed through a blender just isn't especially pleasant to think about.

Yes, but only free range and hormone / chemical free. Same thing with all the other meats.

**raises hand** YEP! I did.

Although, the most gross episode of Dirty Jobs was the one where that guy got food waste from all the Las Vegas Casinos and fed it to his pigs. Oh, and the older guy doing it was two sheets to the wind........ Maybe that's how he handled the smell while picking out the plastic pieces, etc, from the food?

I would've added to their dinner if I was there, because I don't think my lunch would've stayed down for too long.
