Contact your State Legislators and Governor. Demand they fight unconstitutional laws of the federal government. Let them know that you and others are prepared to fight for state's rights against tyranny.

Demand they call a constitutional convention to stop what the federal government is doing. These are our rights as free men and free states. Guaranteed by the ruling document of our country. Do your part.

Since the US was the last industrialized nation to implement universal healthcare, where do you plan to move? Haiti?
Haiti gets a lot of US foreign aid. That's socialism, bro.

Even if you aren't charged with a crime, police really do keep records on everyone. If you're charged in the future for doing something, they'll look in your file and see that you have a long track record of extremist fight-the-man thinking.

The reason they do this is so people can be charged based on character profile. If a guy has 1 complaint against him in his entire life, then it's entirely possible that the person making the accusation is lying; it happens all the time. If a guy has 10 different complaints against him for the exact same thing by 10 different accusers, then maybe it's real and he needs to be in jail. Giving yourself a history of sounding like a nut willing to take extreme action against the government is a bad idea.

I cannot believe all the angst over the health care bill getting passed, it's like the silver spoon some were born with has turned to shit just by a few more people getting a medical checkup.

At least 10 states are joining forces to sue the federal government over this legislation and an 11th, Virginia, will sue but may go it alone. I am not optimistic that they will succeed, but let's hope.

If I was of thinking mind (meaning past my 20s) during enactment of that shit then damn straight I would. Don't tread on me. Funny thing is I was taught the history of this in public high school in the 80s. Why is so foreign now?

Have you already contacted your new hero Scott Brown on why he's not backing efforts to repeal the health care bill?

That shit-hole, Cuba, is no-go. You're stuck with Haiti, bud. I hear they've had a huge dip in the housing market, so you'll be able to get a great deal!

Wouldn't it be great if Medicare covered everyone of every age and had an option to opt-out? People who want socialized medicine would be a part of Medicare. People who want nothing to do with socialized medicine (spidey) could opt out and get a credit on their taxes. Actually, we should have that for schools too. In Sweden they are called education vouchers.
edit: The school voucher means you can go to any private or public school and X amount is covered by the government. I do not want to give the impression that you're allowed to opt out of paying education taxes. That would just be stupid.

That "public option" was on the table at one point. Unfortunately Obama is a horrible president and it's no longer on the table even though the democrats have a larger majority than Bush had while he was doing crazy shit and starting wars.

The new health insurance bill is not socialism, it is corporatism, you know a major component of fascism, usually championed by the right. If a socialist approach had been taken, I probably would have supported the bill.

Socialism is ownership of the means of production.

The people of the US are the means of production.

This bill could not be more Socialist.

The people aren't the means of production. Factories, business, etc are.

Plus nobody owns the people anyway.

You don't understand socialism, which this clearly isn't.

It sure would be nice if it had some socialism in it though.
