I can count to molecules

http://www.koat.com/news/national/3yearold-joins-mensa/-/9153826/21060074/-/u04b2rz/-/index.html

How many molecules in a mole of molecules?

Shall we give the 3 yr old till October 23rd to google it?

3-year-old Selena Janik of Anderson County, Tennessee has displayed superior intelligence in her three short years of existence and has even joined the elite high IQ society, Mensa. WBIR TV 10 reports that Janik’s parents knew that their daughter was special from the moment she was born and as time went by, they noticed that she showed advanced reading and counting skills so they decided to get her IQ evaluated by the family’s local school system. Her intelligence test score was 135 on a composite scale and so high that it placed her IQ in the top 1% of the population.
Shortly after, Janik's father got a phone call that said his daughter had been accepted into Mensa. Membership in Mensa is reserved for people with IQ scores in the top 2%.
The future is bright for the young genius. Janik's mother said, "She told me the other day she said, 'Mommy what are the people who like molecules?' And I said, 'You mean a scientist?' She said, "Yes. I want to be a scientist when I grow up.'"
Her father added, "I just want her to be happy whatever path she chooses."

If a child who doesn't even know the word "scientist" can rank that high in an IQ test, something is wrong with the IQ test

I'm sure she's smart and all but something just seems off about that

IQ tests measure ability to learn and understand, not accumulated knowledge. She is 3, there are going to be many many things she has not learned yet...

After all, she has only been learning from her parents who seem to not know the difference between a chemist and a scientist!

She's extremely intelligent for her age. How many 3 year olds have you met that can even say molecule?

Everyone who wants to become a scientist in reality becomes a dentist or something.

Also...

Two chemists walk into a bar the first one orders H2O and the second chemist says he'll take H2O too. They both chug their drinks and the second chemist died.

Everyone has Avogadro's number just call 6.022x10^23

Step 1: GTF out of Tennessee.

I knew there there had to a silver lining to the South.

Combine enough redneck genetic inbreeding over several, several, several generations, and you'll eventually spawn a one-off Redneck Messiah......

Hopefully the corrupt genetic material will keep her healthy enough to live long enough to 40 to pass on some advancements to humanity.....

I knew a good portion of the periodic table and could say rubidium when I was 3. :colbert:
