i accidentaly ate dill pickles from 2004, will i die?

I DIDNT REALIZE THEY WAS THAT OLD! tasted like crap but i figured what the hey, so i made it through a couple pickles before i went and looked at the jar. HOLY WOW! it tasted so weird, i dont know why i didnt do something on the first bite...

Hell, if they were unopened the whole time they're probably still good. Pickled food can last for years.

If you are my husband, you have multiple accounts and the mods should take note. Husband is king of assessing and subsequently consuming expired foods. My favorite was the 5 year old (greyish) expired salami from the freezer was going to toss, which he retrieved, defended and later did actually eat. Eeeayugh.

If they were properly sealed there should be no bacterial contamination and, while potentially not being very appetizing, should not be dangerous.
