You can believe anything you wish. As you here confess, you say nothing about the issue, what really matters, and make it about me.

You are free to read or not read what I post. What you will not do is change how I chose to answer. I answer according to what I have to say in answer to you.

I was having a dialog with HomerJS regarding his belief people who are now harmed by Trump but voted for his deserve what they are getting, that they were warned. I believe that is an almost universal reaction among Liberals and conservatives alike that is not only wrong but dangerous to believe. It is used as a justification for vengeance and hate and unhealthy because all hate is self hate. We are what we hate, classic projection and to. be what you hate creates self destructive behavior.

At that point you chime in with ab affirmation that self destructive notion that ignorance is willful and that therefore they deserve what they get. You now claim that this general idea that the sinless should throw the first stone should not apply, that people who voted for Trump are not brainwashed through no fault of their own but deserve to suffer. You then claim that because I suggested by name that you were guilty if violation what I suggest is the truth means I am singling you out and making the universal I argue for all about just you.

I stated a general psychological condition most people believe is true but which I believe isn't. You contradicted it. I told you another universal as to why people need to believe as you do. In the first place how could I make an argument that people are not responsible for their ignorance and then make it about you (blaming you) for being that way?

Sure.

What is your reaction?

My honest reaction? Don't give a fuck. They FAFO'd

Article doesn't say if he voted for Trump but if he didn't likely would have said so.

This excerpt from the article. It's not hard to understand, you voted Republican. It's just that simple. We all knew this was coming and we warned you over and over.

I don't like feeling this way but if you were willing to fuck over the country just to maintain power then so be it.
@Greenman can you tell us if this is an example of waste, fraud, or abuse?

Just got back from a quick 10 day European vacation. I ran a 100 mile trail running race in France that had participants from countries all over the world. Talking with other runners the general consensus seems to be "what the hell is the United States thinking?". I encountered one small business that outright told me they don't serve Americans there once they found out I was. Many of them sort of understand the thinking that an authoritarian figure could fix all of the problems and fears, but not many. Thanks Trump, you fucking idiot.

The median voter is a festering pustule of idiocy but they actively made their bed so now they get to lay in it. People say that we should forgive those who voted for Trump but say they were “tricked” or whatever. Most of the time those same people in the same breath say Kamala was just as bad. Nah, get fucked dumbasses. There was a huge substantive difference you were either too stupid to comprehend or you’re lying to yourselves because of partisanship/culture war bullshit that’s infected your brains. If this ship is going down I’ll be calmly having a drink at the bar while you lament the fate you chose.
That's a lot of rage. I don't think I could live with all that boiling away inside me.

Not rage at all. It does not wish future harm it just says here are your consequences. Live with them and I don't care how it affects you.

Caring belongs to people who didn't vote for that racist asshole

Weird that’s the only thing you take out of this thread.
It does mirror a sentiment that incorporates a shared experience deemed to be wise that is thousands of years old, that the harboring of righteous indignation nation is mentally unhealthy. But it is perfectly understandable that self haters look for anybody they can find to morally condemn, their inferiority so great they need to unload on somebody.

I'm not particularly surprised that you can't tell the difference between rage and contempt. Certainly a bold assessment coming from somebody who is either cynical on a level that's difficult to describe or has a terminal case of cognitive dissonance as well.

It's the group think paradox the MAGA mob is festering in, where individual self-determination is abandoned and sacrificed for the sake of the party's survival. I'm sure that many Republicans know that supporting Trump's self-defeating narcissistically driven agenda is wrong for themselves and the nation, even as they're now feeling the hurt in their wallets from Trump's stubbornly stupid insistence that the tariff war he's running makes him look the way he likes and that his tariff war levies unnecessary additional tax burdens on them that coincidentally further finances the tax cuts he wants to give himself and the oligarch club he pines to be a respected member of.

Even as his supporters now realize that they have to rig elections to win at the polls via midterm/mid-Census gerrymandering because their party's policies are bad juju for the vast majority of the nation's working class of which ironically including themselves, they are bound by this mysterious compunction to adhere to their party's loyalty clause despite the fact that it obviously works against their own best interests. It's a form of madness I'll never fully understand.
