Because the justice system is bs, you can suck a kim out with a vacuum and a coat hanger and be g2g but dear god if you somehow kill an unborn baby on accident it's your ass.

I think the real question we should be asking is: What drives people into situations where they are desperate enough to kill themselves or get an abortion?

hmm... this too!

Uhh..the parasite living in their bodies that is unwanted?

Wrong. You want to go back further:

Why'd the girl get knocked up in the first place?

Rape? Incest? Toilet seat?

I support abortion except in cases of rape, incest, and toilet seats.

Wait, I want to understand your stance.

What if they were raped by a toilet seat containing the semen of a family member?

Then God wants her to have the baby. Read the bible, chock full of rape, incest, and toilet seats.

Well, okay, but two out of three ain't bad.

You assume that women who choose to have an abortion think it is a happy occasion, and perhaps one worth repeating.

Of course, many people here think you are wrong...

I assumed nothing. And you failed terribly at putting words into my mouth. I said "specified" time, meaning not always/

Amazingly (though not surprisingly), you disregard the intent of my response and ignore the issue that I am addressing with your comment. I guess quoting me out of context is one manner of your attack, a method of confusing the issue and distorting general perception.

Here is your comment that I am responding to:

Funny how you never responded to the fact that I said the primary reason behind pro-abortion opinions is simply the right to choose, a liberal attack line.

now, looking at my response that you quoted, how does my response seem relevant in regard to time of life? I'm responding to your confusion over the values of pro choice, versus the perverted interpretation of that issue into one of pro-abortion.

again, learn to read, contextualize, and you might be worthwhile in a debate. You certainly aren't at this point.

so, to re-clarify: There is no pro-abortion opinion; at least not in liberal, pro-choice circles. PRO-CHOICE /= PRO-ABORTION[/b]

Do you honestly think that the majority of women who choose abortions do so happily? That they will continue to abort fetuses because they derive so much pleasure?

You can waste as much time as you want claiming that "so many women use abortion as birth control," without ever backing up this worthless opinion, then responding to calls to present your data with "can't prove a negative, nah nah nah nah boo boo."

Of course, you would probably never realize that claiming such an activity is prevalent and statistically significant puts the burden of proof on you to back up this claim. Otherwise, the argument is invalid and unworthy of debate, much less support for policy.

STFU already. Again, I assumed nothing and that is all I am going to say regarding that statement. Furthermore, I'm not here to read your mind. State clearly what you mean next time. Finally, the original comment you posted simply states "the right to choose". Nothing more nothing less. you're reading too much into things. For example, if I was a woman and I accidently got pregnant and did not want the child, I would be pro-abortion in that instance. Your fuzzy logic of being against something while you're for it is stupid. Either you are or you aren't.

BTW, I created this thread on the belief that both should be legal or illegal. There are laws against euthanesia in America but federal law allows abortion. To me the two are not dissimilar.

No offense, dude, (and I'm more pro-life than pro-choice in many instances because I think people should be more responsible in their sexual practices than they are most of the times - however I take into account rape victims and the inability to provide for the child entirely) but your argument is just a bunch of crap. People gave you the scientific definition of when a child is a child - gastrulation. Obviously both parties have different views on this and you guys should argue why/why it's not a child upon zygote conception, not totally avoid it. Really though, please stop talking if you aren't gonna stop sounding like another idiot on the subject. I don't want to have to be in this thread holding your hand trying to prove point after point just so other people don't think those that may be pro-life are uneducated and not willing to accept scientific evidence. I wouldn't do it for my morals either because nobody ever wins this conversation. I would do it just to play the devil's advocate.

Oh, and PS:

<- P&N. GTFO.

and your belief that these are equatable is fallacious. simple as that. plenty have told you so in this thread.

and I'll continue to assume how you are thinking when it is plainly obvious based on your response to my comments that you not only aren't reading my comments, but have an extremely limited capacity for content analysis, much less logical argument.

lemme guess...you're 16 or so?
