Yes. Remind folks
Democrats aren’t going to do what those two guys did.

....and potentially convert some Floridians who would be shocked their representative (at the time) and senator would vote to withhold the relief. It's a pipe dream for sure, but worth a shot.

It can't hurt. I think some independents might be swayed. Actual Florida Republicans are far beyond the point of being horrible people where it would even register for them.

Did they pay for their power lines to be buried?
Their success isn't the fact that they have a huge 700,000 solar panel array. If they still have power, it is because the lines are intact. Others lost power because their lines were severed.

Here you go shitty person

The House today overwhelmingly passed a bill providing $9.7 billion in flood insurance aid for Hurricane Sandy victims. All 67 votes against the aid came from Republicans, including Florida Reps. Ron DeSantis and Ted Yoho, both whom were sworn in yesterday.

All other Florida reps. joined the majority.

"I sympathize with the victims of Hurricane Sandy and believe that those who purchased flood insurance should have their claims paid. At the same time, allowing the program to increase its debt by another $9.7 billion with no plan to offset the spending with cuts elsewhere is not fiscally responsible," DeSantis said in a statement."

In other words, VICTIMS of hurricane Sandy that didn't have enough insurance should not get federal aid. This has nothing to do with Alaska you POS pathological liar.

We know shitheads like he and you will support federal aid to underinsured and uninsured Floridians. Because that's what nasty hypocrites do

What will actually happen is that Democrats will do the right thing and help Florida. DeSantis will use the rescue money and take credit for it and then go right back to calling Democrats pedophiles.

Practically SOP for Repubs when it comes to their red meat policy of being "anti-socialists" except when it come down to accepting "socialist" aid and assistance for themselves from the federal gov't AKA Deep State. I can say though that their blatant hypocrisy and two-faced rhetoric about this and other deviously contrived bullcrap they fling at the wall is something that will only get worse the further they feel threatened of being relegated to the gutters of political irrelevance.

It’s because republicans exist entirely on identity politics.

I would normal say I'm surprised any politician from FL would deny any other state hurricane relief money, but I'm not given those 2 POS.

I wish Biden would have used that little tidbit in his recent speeches.
Remember that republicans live by one motto. GMFU

Well, at least the Florida Republicans are consistent - all 16 Florida Republicans in the House voted against FEMA natural disaster funding late last Thursday just as Hurricane Ian made landfall. As did Senator Rick Scott. Senator Marco Rubio was AWOL for the vote.
