Having piddled with holography it's not 3-D.
Perspective positioning is very well placed though.

im curious for the answer... looking at the image is making me second guess the portion that i think is rendered (background) as being an effect from a telephoto lens (smashed perspective)... hmmmmms

the source lighting is off on the cue ball and the rest of the balls in the background

it looks rendered to me!
