ugh. best price that phone has ever been. would make a killer skype phone for around the house. front facing camera phone for $130!
The HTC ONE V is $100. Which to get?
Better specs, but it's BIG and half again as heavy. 4G is spotty around me and I hear it's going away with Sprint.EVO V 4G is the better phone if you have 4G coverage in your area. I do recommend an extended battery for it. You can get them for about $20 bucks on Amazon, I have the Seidio 3000mah.

Does the larger screen buy you anything useful?
Says no contract, is this unlocked? I am a long time, large balance left Tmobile prepaid user.
Its a phone that can only be used with Virgin Mobile.
can these phones be unlocked for other carriers?
this is a dual core phone right?
the v is a single core, and it was on sale for $50 on xmas. thats how i got mine.

I'm on the $25 per month Beyond Talk plan with my Motorola Triumph. Would VM make me switch to the $35 a month plan if I got the EVO? Tried to find info on their website.
The only reason I'm considering switching is because my Triumph is starting to have issues with the micro usb charging port.

I got a couple of these also for $50, nice little phones - mine seems to have more lag than I would like though - even my windows 7 phone seems faster.
Looking to see if I can get an app to clock the One V a bit higher since battery life isn't a problem for me.
Huh?The cutsom Rom community is all over this phone.
Huh?
I pretty much decided the $49 HTC One V phone I got was the last. Putting up with the people in the XDA forum for this phone made me appreciate the forums for the other devices I have ROMed and rooted. On top of that HTC was and is becoming significantly worse for people who want to have full control over their HTC device.
The phone was a great deal, the torture I endured trying to make heads or tails out of that particular forum was not.
