uhhh...no. That's not why. i use it as a usb flash drive...
You use your phone as a usb drive but you're arguing against being able to put more storage in it?

Yes the DNA does not need bigger storage because it is like a floppy drive. You guys are horrible.
The evil part is the carriers using their exclusive access to phones to limit storage. There should be a 64GB option for $100 more so the manufacturer makes ridiculous margins and people who need more can still get this awesome phone. Win win for everyone it would seem. The carriers get exclusive access to hardware and then provide an inferior product to somehow increase data usage or something. I'm using an 8GB nexus 4 so I don't have a problem with storage, it's with the system that lets this happen.
Yeah sorry, you were saying that it is not necessary to stream everything. Android shouldn't have a file size limit now unless your SD card is FAT32 formatted. The internal storage doesn't have a limit at least... Except on the DNA where there isn't room to put anything larger than probably 10GB.![]()
I honestly don't believe that there's some big conspiracy theory where the goal is to increase data usage. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many other phones with larger storage and/or SD cards. The evil part is the carriers using their exclusive access to phones to limit storage. I've put 5GB 720p rips on my TF101 internal storage over USB. I dunno.
You are confused. Data does not stay permanently on a flash drive. It's a modern day floppy. At least for me...
I'm confused?
You use your phone to transport data around, seem to want to copy large (>4gb) files to it, use an sdcard in your phone but seem to think having the option to put an SDcard in a phone isnt an advantage to that phone.
Good luck transporting all your >4gb files around in a phone with 8gb of storage and no expansion option.
I never said it was not an advantage. I said data could easily be added and removed with a PC. That is how I use my current phone and it's how I would use this phone if I got it. You are just making shit up as you go along.
Right so after umteen posts of you dicking around you now come to the same conclusion that if the phone had an SDcard slot it would be better.
So what exactly have you been babbling about then?
HTC Butterfly, the international (GSM) version of HTC J Butterfly was just announced.
Guess what, it has microSD card slot!

You're the one that's been bitching and whining over the lack of this and that. Fact is, more is always better. But having built-in storage is ok, especially for people like me who don't add their whole life to a device. I use it as a tool and nothing more. And I'll probably get rid of it in a year or so. I also got an SD card because the SD slot was there. If it wasn't? BFD. I'll live without it. I use this phone to transfer documents since I found all the cloud storage services to be ass-slow. I also use it for email and to make the occasional calls. When I'm at home, I gave it to my son as a source of distraction while I do real work on a computer.
Seems like phones means more to you than that so I'm happy that you're happy. Just don't shit on others for liking something you don't like since their wants may not be as extensive as yours.
No...
I just said that it would be better with an SDcard slot and a bigger battery.
Then you went all emo...
Then realised that I was right.
Nah, I said not having either is not the end of the world. You (and others) complaining about the battery without much thought just makes no sense.
