Good thing I don't care about Netflix and canceled the service when the jackasses tried to raise the monthly rate by 60%. D: Free Hulu works. Flash works. Porn works.
This is only tablet that free Hulu works on.

What is free hulu? I tried hulu.com in the browser, and streaming doesn't work on that either :\ It just locks the thing up when you start an episode.

What? Free Hulu is now blocked? 😡 That sucks if it's true. Another byproduct of this Touchpad craze. Hulu didn't bother blocking it before since only few people owned this device. Now there's half a million in the wild.

Hulu Plus is paid Hulu. There are people crazy enough to pay for Hulu with commercials.

I don't know if it's really blocked or not, it plays the commercials fine, but when it gets to the actual episode the tp tanks. It really slows down the system, and you can hear audio but the video freezes on a frame.

So basically this thing is really only good as an ereader and web surfing as far as I'm concerned. Most of their apps aren't anything I would use.

I really hope that touchdroid project is successful.

location? As far as NY goes, Albany, Kingston, Saratoga Springs got restocked earlier today, but they are all out of stock again. The longest it lasted was Albany, I think 2 hours they had stock for. Saratoga sold 16 in about 45 minutes.
 
I already set my alarm for 7:30 tomorrow. To check my local best buy. Hopefully they are getting restocked tonight as well. I live in Miami FL.

Or you can just do a stock check on the site. It was really accurate earlier today, within minutes. I called they didn't have stock, 10 minutes later the site said in store availability, I called the phone was busy, I called again and they told me they had stock. Limit of 1 per person though, so bring your whole family lol!!

So the Best Buy page showed 16 and 32 GB availability at a store. A buddy of mine ran down there and they told him they had them but wouldn't sell them until tomorrow. They told him that was their direction from corporate. Wonder what they are waiting for??

Probably don't want a ton of people rushing in until daytime hours. You would think they would have more staff at night though so I'm not sure.

There were literally people sprinting into our stores here at 3pm and the line was wrapped around the store very quickly.
 
Best Buy near me told me to try after 7:00pm today. So I got there at 8pm and told me they weren't selling them until tomorrow morning and I'd better come early and get in line. I asked how many they got in and she said about 20. She said the 1st day they sold them at that price it was a line down the shopping center side walk that went for a number of stores down.

Screw that. I don't have any need for the thing. It'd just be a toy and my iPad 2 does the job of that just fine.
 
I don't know if it was a typo or some other mistake, but I've been looking for them on ebay as well. One said it had a rear facing camera, the new one has a front facing camera for video calls.

Not sure if it was a different model, they pulled the specs from the wrong site, it's not the same tablet. IDK, but obviously the key is to be very careful who you deal with and what exactly you are buying.

My local BB says it has them in stock on one site, and oos on another site. I think it's about time for me to give up and concentrate on Bachelor Pad.
 
Well, one of the stores in Indy now shows availability of both models. As luck would have it, I have tomorrow off. If it opens at 10 AM, how early should I get there?
