I clicked the link before he edited, it went to the 16GB model for $99 as stated. However, once in the cart the item was a toaster something. Glad I noticed that before finalizing!

Now I just need a good link to an in stock 16 or 32GB. Thanks anyway, assuming it was not a troll of course.
 
Been running round town all morning looking for one of these, but everywhere i looked they were out of stock. Heading home after i pick up lunch, are they still in stock anywhere online?

Yeah it was probably the "touchpad toaster oven" for about 100 bucks 😀
 
I think all of the easy to order options are gone, maybe a second wave on Monday with all the retailers that apparently brainless on the weekend.

Rumor I've read is many of the retail stores had all the inventory grabbed by employees or their friends.

I was tempted last night, but dropped support etc, deal could easy turn sour.

Well the chances of android is fairly high, especially considering WebOS is Linux based as well as Android and iirc WebOS is also partially android based.
 
Picked up three from Walmart this morning. They were at the old price and the "helpful" sales lady assured me the price wasn't changing, but I just smiled and told her I wanted three of them anyway. (two for grandparents and one for my kids).

Talked with a manager while she was opening the case and he wasn't aware of what was happening with him, so I gave him the low down. He said he couldn't price match the online price (which I pretty much knew before I got there) but I'd be able to get the price adjusted when it goes down(which was my plan all along. He was very friendly and appreciated the info I gave him on these.

A few hours later my wife needed to run into Walmart and I checked the case and they had sold out and then I checked the price which had gone down and then went to the service desk and got a big credit issued back.

Our local Staples also had some on the shelf, but at the old prices, and they probably will stay at that for a while.
 
For anyone who ordered through Office Depot, did you get shipping confirmation yet? I did order one, but have only received order confirmation. I'm considering whether I should wait until Monday to see if the order is actually going through.

it's saturday man, you wont get shipping info until at least monday maybe later.

I see what looks like 160 out of 190 listed for auction (bidders) since 5PM yesterday.

I also see over 1/2 of the 147 listed for Buy-it-now listed since 5PM yesterday. The cheapest one is selling for 220 and the most expensive listed since yesterday is 350.00.

Lots of Ferengis out there. 😛

Nope, just scored. QTY 2 confirmed and ordered. I asked "are you sure you're not out of stock" and rep said "nope, you're good". Total time on hold maybe 100 minutes. She did say they were going quick and if I needed more to do so now. First question was "are you calling to order touchpad?"

Remember, the phone is your most powerful tool. While everybody else hung up, I stayed on hold.

I called earlier to add a 2nd to my order and was told they were massively out of stock and were going to use the bestbuy stocks to finish their orders.
